LA 1-0 early. Think that series is going 7. Again NHL playoffs amazing. 3 of 4 round 2 series go 7 games.

They have home ice and just beat the fav Boston after a 1st round sweep. I do think think they will be the "Vegas favorite". But I do not think it will be a huge fav like I do think Boston would have been.

I hope that holds true Chuck, but i predict its 2-2 then they win up there and we lose in OT here.

Even though its Boston i think theyd do better against a bigger slower team than a quick one.

Subban and their speed scares me more than the Bruins tired legs.

Montreal is the right test and right step for this team, Henrik really needs to break his bad game play in MTL and what better way to purge your demon then the ECF. I'd imagine MSL would love to defeat MTL in the postseason having grown up a fan and cant forget AV having coached there earlier in his career. This is the matchup we need for the team we have to take the step. Rangers in 6. Nash is rejuvenated and scores in this series. LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is the Rangers year. The Habs are good but arent great. The Bolts sucked and they always play a close series against Boston.

I would love to see Rangers in 4. I think they can win in 5 or 6

I just look at two main things:

    1. The Flyers series versus the Pens series. And outside of the egg we laid in game 4, I think we played better against the Pens. Won 3 in their building. Won a game 7 on the road. Against the Flyers I think we were beaten up more. Had home ice. We played 3 games against their backup goalie. Got whipped in game 6. Not sure we win game 7 if it's played at Philly. I happen to think the Pens series was the "easier" series between the two despite being down 3-1. Hence I think we matchup better against the speed and skill of Montreal over the physical pounding size of Boston.
    2. Boston owns us right now. We can spin it anyway we want, but they beat us almost every single time we play now. Say the playoffs are a different game/season. All that stuff, but the fact remains they always seem to pound us into the ground. They dominated us in last seasons playoffs. I really just don't see them as a good matchup for us.

Now 31 makes a fair point, Boston may have had tired legs, and that could have been to our benefit, but I still think this is the better matchup on paper.

The only things that make me think twice about that are Subban and the fact that we stink in Montreal (and Hank struggles).

But I guess that is all water under the bridge now anyway since Montreal it is. Now we go play. Hank is great, and now it is time for him to stepup in Montreal. That simple.

We'll see a lot of 2-1 type games IMO.

i also think that montreal took advantage of a beaten young boston D due to injuries, they will have to adjust to our D. Which could be good for us if they struggle to adjust. Hank must be our best player as usual and if we get more then one line that scores that should open up the game.... there gonna put suban against nash line? IDK maybe they put them against Zucc line and opens up nash. I like it. I'm warming up to the idea.. but the big test is a game 1 in montreal on a 1pm time (not sure just read that here )which means there crowed isn't going to be as loud as if it 3was a 7pm game. Maybe we can steal game 1 on the road? if that happens im liking our chances more and more....

but at the end of the day guys, theres going to be one team going to the finals either rangers or Canadians and if you said that at the start of the season i wouldn't of believed you. DAMN GO RANGERS

don't c any advantage here whatsoever, these teams are a mirror image of 1 another, the best goalie wins this series

don't even think the crowd bothers this rangers team like it has in the past

the refs! they call it fairly, series should b classic!
