This series was as lopsided as Apollo Creed versus Ivan Drago. Blazers were carcas after round or game one.
Welp, he may go to the Clippers, but y'all could sell him on a leadership role. He'd get roughly the same amount of playing time despite automatically being a starter in LA.
Absolutely agree. I want them to get to the finals and hope Ray Allen makes them choke again. They're good, but I hate them
The only way he would come here is if his abilities were Space Jam'd and this team offered him the most.
I think you guys should have put the peddle off the medal a little bit towards the end. But wish you luck. You'll need it against Miami. Also find it interesting how you're players take less to play for San Antonio. If we asked Lamarcus that. he'd laugh his ass all the way to Dallas.
I was in the game thread after game 4: http://sportstwo.com/threads/262996...PM-(PST)-TNT?p=3348433&viewfull=1#post3348433
Pierce is an interesting target. He's used to a very white city with crappy weather so maybe he'd listen? Another idea from same team is Kirilenko. We need the defense and could play him at SF with Batum at SG. Full MLE would be a $2+ million raise whereas with Pierce he'd be losing a starting spot and a $10mil salary decrease.
I really like a lot of things with the Spurs but the whinning to the refs is ridiculous. Especially Ginobili. I hated having to play against Howard last series but the dude came to play. Gained a lot of respect for him even if he is a clown at times. But lost almost all respect I had for Manu. Will be happy to see him struggle just as he did last year. Duncan and Parker are studs though.
Dwight took some cheap shots to Lopez and dirty elbows which pissed me off but I'd rather see 5 of those than the flop from zero contact every time Manu runs off balance into the lane
Manu was garbage this series, which is sad because he was so good against Dallas. If he continues to suck in the next round the Spurs are done.
Blazer fans show a lot of respect for the Spurs in the Reddit game threads (many rooting for Spurs to win the Championship) http://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/25llvc/the_portland_trail_blazers_have_officially_been/ and Blazersedge. Spurstalk seems to allow a lot of trolling and one troll (or a small loud minority) shouldn't represent an entire fanbase. Anyways, hope the Spurs win the chip if the Wizards don't, lol
