...and all the possible upsets, the conference finals will be 1 vs 2 seeds on both sides. I can't remember if it's ever been like this before. Usually, a lower seed sneaks in. Can anyone confirm?

    Shocking.

The Thunder will beat the Spurs and then go on to have the BIG HUGE GIGANTIC MATCHUP BETWEEN DURANT AND LEBRON!

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was saying at the end of the first round, too.

The Thunder-Clipper games I saw definitely reinforced the impression that "les jeux sont fait" (The die is cast; the script has been written; we are all pawns in this preordained charade; etc.).

I think in 2001 the favored team won every series. Can someone verify? I would but I'm super busy & just taking 5.

Don't the favored teams usually win?

I mean, only two teams that were lower than the #3 seed have ever won a championship, right? A #1 seed wins significantly more than half the time.

When obama was first elected I knew it was the governments plan to create racial tension. Stir up those old ways of thinking so we would fight amongst ourselves whilst the elite sink our ship and take their expensive life rafts to other countries. When this race crap blew up it fed right into the script. Now the clippers will win an emotionally charged title and racial tension between morons who cant think past race will increase.

The favored seeds do usually win, but it is unusual for the Final Four, so to speak, to be the #1 and #2 seeds (just like in college it's unusual for all #1's to make the Final Four). No conspiracy, no Obama, just surprising since so many series were so competitive not to see any upsets in Round 2.

I did my own research for this millenium. Also, wanted to show how rare it is that the team with the best record wins the title. It's only been 1 vs 2 & 1 vs 2 twice in the last 14 years. The team with the best record has only won 4 times in the last 14 years. Also, how impressive were the Pistons? 6 straight conference finals!

Wow--the Bucks were good once! And in a conference final, no less. More recently than the Blazers, even.

That last part was kind of depressing.

Yes, I believe the Bucks had a big 3 of Ray Allen, Sam Cassell, and Big Dog Glenn Robinson.
