...and all the possible upsets, the conference finals will be 1 vs 2 seeds on both sides. I can't remember if it's ever been like this before. Usually, a lower seed sneaks in. Can anyone confirm?
Shocking. The Thunder will beat the Spurs and then go on to have the BIG HUGE GIGANTIC MATCHUP BETWEEN DURANT AND LEBRON!
The Thunder-Clipper games I saw definitely reinforced the impression that "les jeux sont fait" (The die is cast; the script has been written; we are all pawns in this preordained charade; etc.).
I think in 2001 the favored team won every series. Can someone verify? I would but I'm super busy & just taking 5.
Don't the favored teams usually win? I mean, only two teams that were lower than the #3 seed have ever won a championship, right? A #1 seed wins significantly more than half the time.
When obama was first elected I knew it was the governments plan to create racial tension. Stir up those old ways of thinking so we would fight amongst ourselves whilst the elite sink our ship and take their expensive life rafts to other countries. When this race crap blew up it fed right into the script. Now the clippers will win an emotionally charged title and racial tension between morons who cant think past race will increase.
The favored seeds do usually win, but it is unusual for the Final Four, so to speak, to be the #1 and #2 seeds (just like in college it's unusual for all #1's to make the Final Four). No conspiracy, no Obama, just surprising since so many series were so competitive not to see any upsets in Round 2.
I did my own research for this millenium. Also, wanted to show how rare it is that the team with the best record wins the title. It's only been 1 vs 2 & 1 vs 2 twice in the last 14 years. The team with the best record has only won 4 times in the last 14 years. Also, how impressive were the Pistons? 6 straight conference finals! 2013 ECF #1 Heat vs #3 Pacers WCF #5 Grizzlies vs #2 Spurs Champion- Miami Heat (best record in NBA) 2012 ECF #4 Celtics vs #2 Heat WCF #1 Spurs vs #2 Thunder Champion- Miami Heat (4th best record in the NBA) 2011 ECF #1 Bulls vs #2 Heat WCF #4 Thunder vs #3 Mavericks Champion- Dallas Mavericks (tied for 4th best record in NBA) 2010 ECF #4 Celtics vs #2 Magic WCF #1 Lakers vs #3 Suns Champion- Los Angeles Lakers (3rd best record in the NBA) 2009 ECF #1 Cavaliers vs #3 Magic WCF #1 Lakers vs #2 Nuggets Champion- Los Angeles Lakers (2nd best record in the NBA) 2008 ECF #1 Celtics vs #2 Pistons WCF #1 Lakers vs #3 Spurs Champion- Boston Celtics (best record in the NBA) 2007 ECF #1 Pistons vs #2 Cavaliers WCF #4 Jazz vs #3 Spurs Champion- San Antonio Spurs (3rd best record in NBA) 2006 ECF #1 Pistons vs #2 Heat WCF #4 Mavericks vs #2 Suns Champion- Miami Heat (5th best record in NBA) 2005 ECF #1 Heat vs #2 Pistons WCF #1 Suns vs #2 Spurs Champion- San Antonio Spurs (tied for 2nd bet record in NBA) 2004 ECF #1 Pacers vs #3 Pistons WCF #1 Timberwolves vs #2 Lakers Champion- Detroit Pistons (6th best record in the NBA) 2003 ECF #1 Pistons vs #2 Nets WCF #1 Spurs vs #3 Mavericks Champion- San Antonio Spurs (best record in the NBA) 2002 ECF #1 Nets vs #3 Celtics WCF #1 Kings vs #2 Lakers Champion- Los Angeles Lakers (tied for 2nd best record in NBA) 2001 ECF #1 Sixers vs #2 Bucks WCF #1 Spurs vs #2 Lakers Champion- Los Angeles Lakers (tied for 2nd best record in NBA) 2000 ECF #1 Pacers vs #3 Knicks WCF #1 Lakers vs #3 Trail Blazers Champion- Los Angeles Lakers (best record in NBA)
Repedophiles and democraps are all pushing the same agenda. They put on a good show to keep us arguing amongst ourselves though.
Wow--the Bucks were good once! And in a conference final, no less. More recently than the Blazers, even. That last part was kind of depressing.
