Checked hard very early. Shoulder. Guess we'll find out how bad soon. Maybe separated? We'll see.

weaver hit him when he wasn't lookin, hurt him good, got a rub down from trainer, back on ice, then had to leave ice never came back! ... just one of those hits where his body was going one way and got blasted the other, he will be in alot of pain tomorrow

Man I hope someone catches Weaver with his head down. We cant have career scrubs like him taking out our beat players, even if it was a clean hit.... Hopefully it isn't serious. Right now we have 4 lines that are rolling

Could be a plus Dis. If not a shoulder I bet he will be okay.

I hope the team doesn't react like some of you guys in here. We need to focus on winning, not trying to settle scores in the ECF. Come on now. If a hit is there, by all means hit, but don't go in trying to settle a score...that is just dumb.

Not retaliating is one thing chuck but when you have a trained assassin like prust just crosschecking and slashing kreider left and right either someone has to answer or someone like kreids gets a broken hand or worse on one of those slashes.

Right, and we do that by playing smart hockey, making the smart play, and winning the game. That's how you do it. Hit when the hit is there, but don't make a dumb play just to settle some score. That's just my opinion.

They have to finish checks and just keep frustrating the Habs. Theyre a team of angry midgets

By the way, that hit on Brass was a penalty missed by the refs too.

Brassard they say has been nursing some back issues for a while now. That hit might of thrown him into spasms. He said on the post game he should be good to go for game 2. Even if not they get a long time off before game 3 which is an advantage.

Agreed Mess. Based on everything I don't see him missing more than game 2, if he even misses a game. Game 3 isn't until Thursday night.

the hit was so non intentional its not even funny, a random fair check that hit brassard the wrong way, and half of you guys want dirty penalties to put us in the box and have MTL score, cuz were so good when the other team scores first. jesus.

we nearly break price's leg with krieder and everybody wants to go after SUBAN LMAO #rangerlogic

I would call the hit late since it was well after Brassard passed the puck away, I didn't see Weaver make any effort to let up so I definitely wouldn't call it unintentional but it's playoff hockey and shit happens. I just find it ironic that the Habs cried a river of tears over Boston's dirty play and they open the series with the same crap. Kreider wouldn't have crashed into Price if his skate hadn't been taken out from under him.
