Looks like he has huge hands as well . . . I wonder what we would have to give up for this kid?

We need someone with around Nic's size. If we're serious about contending, we have to beat OKC to get to the finals. Need as many able bodies to throw at KD as possible. Kawhi's emergence makes this kid more appealing

Haven't seen him play but he's a top 10 pick, would take at least Barton or T-Rob to get such pick.
If we trade into the draft, I would rather get to 20 where there are players I like, or trade something minimal for a 2nd rounder.

#1 rebounder among our top-100 prospects at nearly 15 rebounds per-40 minutes.

With his 7-4 wingspan and terrific 242 pound frame, Vonleh has the body, length and intensity-level needed to compete on the interior in the NBA. He shows some ability to score both inside and out, flashing hook shots over either shoulder and range out to the 3-point line, but does not have the skill-level or aggressiveness needed to be a consistent scorer at the college level yet.

More details on the youtube page.

Noah Vonleh's hands are 11.75 inches - the second-largest in NBA combine history. He first palmed a basketball at "six or seven years old."

I'm sorry, just so I understand, you think Barton or T-Rob would get us into the top 10 of this draft?

I think T-Rob is already better and will probably always be better than this guy with the big hands. Wouldn't trade Barton for him either.

Well you're in luck then because other teams would laugh if Olshey offered either for a top 10 pick

You'd probably need to give up a starter to get into the top 6 in this draft.

Id give up CJ, Leonard, Barton/Crabbe and Wrights expiring. that might get us a pick around the 10 range. Then draft this kid or Saric.

This guy is a HUGE project. Yep, he measures out well and is a great rebounder, but he's years away from being a solid rotation player. Is that what we need right now - another project? Would he even get enough minutes here to develop? He won't even be 19 until two months after the draft. I think he's a much better fit on a team that is in total rebuilding mode, will give him the minutes he needs to develop and have the patience to allow it to happen. Great upside, but very young and VERY raw.

I'd like to keep both Barton & Crabbe (and of course Robinson!), but if we can package anyone else on the bench to get into the draft that'd be awesome. And if push came to shove, I'd include Barton OR Crabbe depending on what pick we were getting.

The draft is a crapshoot and we've got half a roster of projects now. We need 2 vets on the bench.

T-Rob was a higher pick than this guy will probably be and the only reason we talk about him is this report, not because he's a can't miss talent.
I think he'd be about the same as Festus Ezeli and while I love Festus, he was picked 30 and I wouldn't trade T-Rob for him.

Greg Oden was a higher pick than Kevin Durant.

Some of you have little sense what it would take to get into this lottery. Table scraps aren't going to get it done. This draft has been touted as one of the best drafts in the last 20 years. Whether you think picks are valuable or not, other teams view them as such
