In light of A-Fraud appearing to make his come back next year.

I personally hate the idea....not to cloud my judgement, I really doubt Alex will ever don pinstripes again.....

Show of Hands, and don't fear if you say "yes, I'd like to see him play 3rd base for the Bombers". I won't hold it against you personally, I doubt anyone else will, its just an opinion, your free to have-

A- Will Alex play Opening Day or week, as scheduled for the Yankees?, or until the Yanks can trade him, (no takers), how about the Yakult Swallows?
Yes, or No, Aye or Naye

B- Do you want to see A-Roid play 3rd base for the Yankees next year. Personally I do hope he plays in Japan. IMHO, I don't ever want to see his mug on TV again, unless its "America's Most Wanted"
    Yes or NO, please.

    A-NO

    B-NOT NO HELL NO

1-I think he will be traded in light of #2-#4

2-The reception Alex gets will be the anti-thesis of Ryan Braun's Milwaukee standing O. Alex is the "most hated despised" liar, I mean man in MLB and moreso New York now, and come Opening Day. King George used to say, "bad press was better than no press". This isn't "bad press", its plain bad news. A travesty, or disaster looming, waiting to happen, and "I told you so".

3- I cannot see any PR org. The Yankees, or-(especially A-Roids PR Team, which is part of his contract), recomend to him or the Club, such an event would be prosperous without severe possibilities of a major confrontational event. Can the NYPD put enough men on horse and foot, to surround Alex on the field, as he's fielding or batting; or coming to the Park or leaving it, unprotected without the Secret Service tailing him? (can the grounds crew clean up several tons of horse manure every 30 minutes)? I can hear it now: "Hey Blue, can you make that horse move, I can't see the ball"....! ("I didn't pay good money for this field level seat, to smell horse shit, I could of got that at the Horse Park").

4- Alex's return will be not bad press, but fodder for every person pissed off at his indiscretions, lies, cheating, destroying of the Nation's Fond Belief in our National Past Time. Alex has trashed that belief, mockingly.

5- A-Roids return to a very public ball park, reminds me to much of the Night Stalker Richard Ramirez, when he was spotted on the City Streets of L.A. as the LAPD had to intervene to stop the public crowds who were in process of bludgeoning him to death. Imagine that LAPD saving a mans life, when he had more than a beating coming...!

I know, "forgive those who trespass against us".....Sorry, I just lost my religion on this one...!

I'm hoping that the Yankees are checking every possible way to prevent his return to the team and successful in doing so.

    A - No
    B - HELL no!

I just don't know how that could be accomplished... I don't know who would take him... I fear we are stuck with him

I would hope so and I'm sure that options are being explored... Question is how much will the union back him should something happen?

He's due 61M over the next 3 seasons so......#1 there's no way ANY team will take that contract. Even IMO the Yankees agree to pay 1/2. #2 The Yankees still to date have no one that could play his position & be even remotely productive. (Solarte again IMO is next seasons 2nd baseman).

I'm afraid (as Steve mentioned) we're stuck with this bum. But FWIW: even if he gives us 15/75/250 it'll be more then we've gotten from that position in 2 years.

...he's not even mobile enough to play 3B very well...no way he plays SS.

...and while the Yanx are obligated to PAY him, they are not obligated to PLAY him.

Unfortunately they will if it comes down to him or the 210 hitting Johnson.

Another reason I want the Yankees to win this season is my recall of that God Damn egomaniac stating that the Yankees were a better team with him in the lineup. A-rod is more full of s@@t than a septic tank.

    All good points, thanks guys.....

I too am afraid the Yanks are stuck with him, no team wants that kind'a salary for a washed up roid freak, who will be a shell of who he once was on Vitamin-S.

However, I'd take a loss if I could trade him and eat half his contract. Bad business decision, but so be it.

I can't imagine the free for all fiasco IF Alex does come back. Like Ron said, he can't play 3rd base, he sure as hell can't play SS. DH? WTF- 20 Mil for a washed up DH...!

Maybe someone can drive over him in the Parking Lot, and let Insurance Policy replace him....!

Again, I can only imagine, a RIOT will ensue in the Bronx. I'm sure the NYPD will say, "I warned you Bobbsy Twins, you were told you need to hire the National Guard for this event". Maybe some low life can set him up, get him busted with more PED's or other drugs in his pocket, then ban him from MLB. Perhaps slip a few ruffies in his cocktails at a local Disco....!

I like the sound of this:

Let him be the Bat Boy.....or send him to the grounds crew....maybe clean up trash after the game....

Sad thing, is either way we cut it, the Yanks will be paying for little to nothing, a bad deal gone awry. I only hope the Bobbsy Twins have smart enough lawyers, or even De Boys on a Bat-Phone, to figure out a loophole to kick him off the team. But we know that isn't going to happen, or it would of already. However De-Boyz, don't under estimate them, they strike when its least expected....hehe....wait, did King George take their number with him to his grave???? Seems like it....

Too bad that cleats aren't made in black leather, A-rod could have a shoe shine stand in the club house making himself useful as well as ornamental as Girardi continues to fail placing his name on the line up card.

    Too Good Michael :lol::biglaugh::rotfl:

I can just see this visceral, "what no tips, you cheap asses"....when he's done cleaning the Team's cleats, (or polishing them), he can be relegated to polishing the players street shoes. Lord knows we can't have him tossing peanuts, to the crowds, or he'd be found in face down in the Hudson.

when he's done with that, give him a broom, and let him sweep up the sunflower seeds in the dugout. Next, scrub the tile in the showers.....there's plenty the Yanks can do to get a return on their sour investment....hehe...!

Better yet, don't let him enter the clubhouse, or dress out, let alone enter the dugout.

When the game is over, give him a new job, picking the bubble gum off the bottom of all the stadiums chairs....now that's the ticket...!!!
