http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/431...t_call_it_even/We need to rename Ray allen so we can incoporate bi*ch in it. He is the definition of a bi*ch.
Oh please, he made a comment on Wade getting some calls. Big fricken deal. God forbid a guy speaks his mind.
Alot of people are saying the same things.... surely they can't all be just whingeing! And Melo, I'm sure if Odom or Kobe had made the same comments you would have been saying "dam right!, wade get too many calls"
Wow this is a surprise, Ray Allen complaining about something. I had to double check the name cause I just couldnt believe it. That was sarcasm for you slow people out there. Anyways I agree with Melo061, Ray Allen is a complete bi*ch. I lost all the respect I had for him when he called the league office making sure that Bruce Bowen would get a suspension for kicking him in the back. Dont get me wrong, what Bruce did was bad but Ray did not need to call the League Office and make sure that he got a suspension.
Eh..not a big deal to me...He is partly telling the truth anyway. Refs do let Wade get away with alot of crap.
Well I agree with the points made by Allen and Hill, so what's the point of claiming he's a bi*ch. Especially with all the bitching by the players in the past.

Yeah the Lakers are not complaining so far their letting teams score more against them than the sonics. Sonics need to worry about their sh*tty D like Lakers. Good point.
"On one play, he carried the ball for about three feet and took two steps," Hill said of what he insisted was an uncalled palming violation. "I asked the official, `How am I supposed to coach against that?'" It's almost impossible to take a dribble on every step you take. These guys are just bi*ching because Wade torched them. Does he get a lot of calls? Yes, because he is always penetrating to basket, sells even the slightest touches perfectly, and most of the time actually does get hit.
What he is saying is completely true, Wade does get away with a lot of calls in the NBA, that was shown in the world championships when he was constantly called for traveling by refs that actually know basketball. But IMO the guy who gets away with the most is Lebron, I mean lets just go back to last years playoffs, to win a game he took a hoop then took 3 steps and was never called for anything. Even if that had been Wade he woudl have been called for traveling
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>These guys are just bi*ching because Wade torched them. Does he get a lot of calls? Yes</div>Sounds to me like you agree with the notion Wade gets calls, which in turn makes their bitching worthwhile. Because that's really the gist of their statements. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>But Ray allen always makes these comments. It's not a one off.</div>Speaking of Ray's past comments, Stu Jackson is actually looking into Bowen's dirty defensive tactic of undercutting players right now. So call Ray a bi*ch or not, when the league looks into it, looks to me Ray had all the reason to complain. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>League probing Francis' injurySaturday, November 11, 2006BY DAVID WALDSTEINHOUSTON -- Stu Jackson, the NBA's czar of discipline, said he was investigating Bruce Bowen's foot maneuver that led to Steve Francis' injury Monday. He also said there would not be a suspension, meaning Bowen will be available to play against the Knicks tonight in San Antonio.Francis' availability is a "game-time" decision, according to Knicks coach Isiah Thomas.Bowen has done the same thing to Vince Carter (twice), Carmelo Anthony, Ray Allen and Vladimir Radmanovic, which is why Jackson is looking into it. But Jackson said he was concerned only that the Spurs forward has a tendency -- not necessarily intentional -- to move his feet under shooters when they jump. If so, Jackson simply wants to help him stop, but there won't be any disciplinary action."Oh, no," Jackson said. "In the past he hasn't allowed the shooter to come down. I'll look at the video evidence and see if it's the technique that he's using so that he can avoid in the future."Jackson, who was at the Toyota Center last night, acknowledged that a foul should have been called on the play, in which Bowen stuck his left foot under Francis' left foot as he was coming down. Francis sprained his left ankle and has missed two games, including last night's against the Rockets.</div>

He drives to the hoop more than anyone not named AI, he sells even the slightest touches perfectly, etc... A lot of the time he is hit and there are no calls, and vice versa. So of course he is going to get a lot more calls, than, say....RAY ALLEN! I guarantee you they would not have said anything if he didn't drop 30+ on them and beat them like he did. LeBron gets a crapload of calls, Wade gets a ton of calls, Kobe gets a ton of calls, as do most superstars. The only totally blatant one I disagree with that sticks out in my mind is the LeBron travel in game 3 of first round vs Wizards. He took about 5 steps in front of all the refs, didn't sell it well at all, it was extremely blatant...and possibly cost the Wizards the series.
I think some people like to think negatively about Ray Allen after reading that because Dwyane Wade is the young popular marketable guy on the championship team, and Ray Allen is the vet stuck in Seattle. Ray Allen has been a stand-up guy and played the game the way it's meant to be played for a long time though. He has alot of credibility as a player. This isn't the first or last time someone has said something like that about Wade. When a guy like Ray Allen says something though, I think you need to take a step back and really look at the situation.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I agree he gets a lot of calls, but don't agree with them complaining about it to the media.</div> You realize the league has implemented a zero tolerance rule because of bitching. It's common to me to hear this stuff through media. I see nothing wrong with Hill/Allen sharing their thoughts. You disagree but it's not like this is the first time. The media is an outlet for players and coaches to vent their frustrations.

It makes for some good drama, but I hate when players bi*ch about other players and how they get so many calls and things like that. Complaining about a new rule the league has implented is one thing, but complaining about players that just lit up your team is just bi*chy to me. As I said before, if Wade didn't have such a big game and Sonics didn't lose they would have said nothing.
