I'm going into a Cavs forum and I don't see Aldridge for #1 even mentioned..

Fuck 'em. We're not going to trade LaMarcus anyway.

The big difference between Love and LMA, lets not get into a big pissing contest about one being better then the other, is that Love has the ability to agree to play for 2 years in Cleveland if he waves his opt out. Cleveland would have to get the waived befor trading for him and then they have 2 years to convince him. LMA is an UFA after this year, they have a shot at him only be there one year and its a real possibility that he would leave Cleveland especially if they did not have very much success.

Yeah there's zero chance the Cavs would be interested in trading for LaMarcus as he wouldn't give them assurance of staying.

One of those lose lose trade ideas that hurts both teams

The difference is, I could see LA staying because the Cavs could offer the most money. There's no chance in hell that Love stays in a place like Cleveland. None. Zero. If they trade for Love they will immediately get burned.

Yeah, I was there yesterday, did not see LMA mentioned at all, not even on their radar

Good thing fans don't make the trades though, right?

Boo-hoo. Maybe you'll realize you are not good at this GM thing now. :)

Actually I've seen him being mentioned but barely. Here's a couple of examples and link (haven't looked much further yet but there could be more).

There's one thread about KLove - Thread: JUST SAY NO: Kevin Love for #1 Pick

Seems the majority want to keep the #1 pick instead of a 1-2 year rental.

I would make an amazing GM. The first thing I would do is eliminate net neutrality.

What to do with the #1? To me it depends on one thing and one thing only. What does LBJ want? I believe Cleveland will target him. I think he's a priority for them. And if landing another top 10 player with experience/playoff experience makes that location more appealing than someone that is just walking into the league with no experience and no guarantee. Than I think they take that player that is top 10 and is seasoned and ready to win. LA is that.

If I had to guess, I would bet LBJ would take LA over Love. Obviously I don't know for sure. I've read where he would be interested in playing with him.

I went to the crack smoker forum, and no where, not even through their search functions, did I find any threads about Lamar Odom being signed by the Blazers.

I did, however, find several threads about Shawn Kemp.

The cavs are inept, and so are their fans?

fans of every team thinks their players are worth more than they are. Also, I suspect that most of them are doing what Blazer fans did back in whatever year they got the #1 pick and it was suggested they trade it.

Laughing internally and shaking their heads.

When was the last #1 pick traded? Like, 93?

Ya, it's certainly been a while. If I were Cleveland I'd take Wiggins and run. Unless of course Lebron said get me another established star and I'll sign

I find the opposite to hold true for this community. Scrubs like Ramon Sessions are salivated over, while the Jamal Crawfords and Mo Williams are scapegoats in Portland.

Well, Jamal Crawford didn't really help his cause by really not wanting to be here anyway... so, there's that.

Yeah, and this thread would seem to argue with the original premise: http://sportstwo.com/threads/263663-127m-Why-is-LA-worth-that
