Hmm, I usually don't condone making fun of some one for how they talk, it's sort of like making fun of some one for how they look. A lot of it has to do with where you were born and how you were raised....

I reserve the right to make fun of anybody for any reason I like.

If some hypersensitive thought policeman chooses to be offended by something I do or say, fuck 'em in the neck.

Almost everything about a person has a lot to do with where they were born and how they were raised. Where do you draw the line?

He'll be there as an analyst. I'll be interested in seeing how sage he is. I kinda crack up when I hear Barkley going on about defense as he was a terrible defender. I wonder if it'll be the same with Mo.

Yeah its funny when players who made bad decision with the ball talk eloquently and insightful. Jamal Crawford is another.

the people who preach tolerance for homophobic, racist, sexest slurs etc must be tolerant of opposing views themselves. It's why I refused to sign the petition in Portland. Peach tolerance, but then be intolerant. No thank you hypocrites.
That's where I draw the line.

(this isn't directed @ anyone on this board)

So Mo is going to hog the mic until there's only like 3 seconds until the commercial break and then quickly throw the mic to someone else so they can say something stupid as they fade out.

Good for Mo! He can't be worse than Reggie Miller or Mark Jackson on the mike.

I wasn't saying its wrong what you said, I just personally choose not to, and I am a proponent of living your life and acting the way you want to.

Like when people made fun of LA for saying 'you know' a lot, but he can't help it.

On topic: good for him. Will be interesting to hear his take on the spurs.

Can anyone offer a theory as to why Mo got this job? Has anyone noticed any superior skill in either his oratory or analysis?

    I'll start with 2 theories.
    1. It's who he knows.
    2. It's who he's been sleeping with.

    How about

They picked him over other players because he'll work for free. He's willing to work for free because he'll be marketing himself for his new contract. The high visibility, and playing the role of an expert analyst, will obtain higher offers.

Have you notice how he doesn't do it as much anymore? I wonder if it's because his confidence is up or he worked with a speech therapist or something like that...
