1:24PM: Dan Lacriox was watching as well. (TVA)

1:18PM: Montreal goalie coach Stephane Waite has told Therrien that Sather is watching practice. (TVA)

1:14PM: Renaud Lavoie tweets that Michel Therrien was “upset”/”furious” that Rangers assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson was watching the Montreal practice at MSG. (TVA)

Samuelsson left but now Glen Sather is watching practice. (TVA)

Lavoie said that it’s a “no-no” to do that when it’s not a morning skate. (TVA)

James Mirtle tweets “Rangers coach(es) were watching the Habs practice and Michel Therrien wasn’t pleased. Told them to beat it.”

I LOVE it. You can tell the Rangers are pissed off at the Habs for all this BS. And I bet inside they feel the Prust thing was clearly a form of payback for Price. This team will be ON FIRE tomorrow night. I want a domination.

It is the playoffs, especially ECF for chance to play in SCF. Teams will do anything to play with each other heads. Having said that, the Canadians needed some fire lit up under their asses. They did not have any hatred towards the rangers, since there is no any kind of rivalry between two teams. The Habs basically beat the bruins solely on emotional level based off their bitter rivalry. To be honest, this series was kinda boring up untill stepan's hit. It favored us since the canadiens were not fired up. Now both teams hate each other. Let the fireworks begin.

It is the playoffs, of course both teams will be ready. But we are home and will have even more motivation. That is how it works Step. Just like game 2 when they came out on fire and took it to us. We have seen this 1000 times. That is what I expect in game 4.

I think you do have a point Step. The Habs know they needed something, so they are trying to manufacter emotion for themselves. Issue is in trying to do that I think all they did was get us even more fired up, and I think that will be a negative for the Habs, especially tomorrow night.

We played the Pens and Flyers, two big rivals (especially the Flyers), and we saw nothing like this. I 10000000000% believe this is all happening because of the Price injury. From the moment it happened the Habs have been out to create havoc like the Stepan play. Ridiculous for a CLEAN HIT.

I don't understand why they did not go hard after CK or Hank in game 2. It played out in our favor.

The Habs are not a physical team. I'm not saying take cheap shots but the Rangers should be hitting them a lot more.

And I think this will play out in our favor as well, outside of the Stepan injury. BUT let's remember this guys...we have played this whole series without Brassard (35 seconds = not playing in game 1 also), and yet we still have a 2-1 lead. So now we are making a trade really for game 4. Stepan out and Brassard in. So in reality for this series so far, we are not losing a lot on the ice.

Agreed Mess, but do it in a smart way. We cannot do stupid things that put us in the box and fire them up. # 1 priority is winning game 4. We do that and we got this for sure IMO.

The Rangers say they were unaware of any sort of agreement and would have honored it had they known. Sather spoke with Marc Bergevin about it after practice. (Pat Leonard)

Taking Prust out of the lineup may actually hurt Mtl more than losing Stepan does the Rangers. He's their only really physical player.

Because it's just in Montreal's mind. They walk around with their noses in the air like it's them and the rest of the NHL.
