...and I stated that the 2013 Sox would probably not have MADE IT TO THE PS if not for their offense. And you used PS numbers to try to prove a point you made about the "course of the season", not the PS.

...you said from the very beginning that PITCHING was the Yanx problem, with absolutely no merit given to the fact that the offense has been worse. And THAT has been the very crux of this whole argument.

...and sorry, but you're wrong about the Sox being "anomalous"...there have been many teams better known for their offense rather than their pitching...so you lose on that argument as well. But go ahead and try to spin it into something else again.

...now, once and for all, can you disprove ANYTHING I have said in this thread, yes or no?

I said their pitching played out over the course of a full season is going to be a problem because they don't have anything reliable outside of Tanaka. As for those teams better known for their offense that's my point. They usually don't win anything.

...there you go with the "course of a season" thing...the entire course of this season has yet to happen yet because there are 114 games left !

...and you're again wrong about great offensive teams not usually winning...again, there have been many.

...you are making an assumption based on 48 games and assuming the roster will be the same come October and and also assuming the staff will not improve.

Edit; ...gonna be out of pocket for a several hours if you still wanna continue this abortion.

Just to think I thought the Bosox bought the World Series last year, from the same clan who created the Black Sox Scandal...hmm...! I take great Joy in seeing Boston's fall from grace, gives me solace to sleep at night.

It could be worse guys, thank God we are not Bums fans. Now that's a Team with some serious issues. Tho' they're playing .500 ball, barely at times, the Bums have on paper the best of all worlds, damn near. Yet can't put a streak, or even a consistent error free defense in the field. While stranding 24 RISP out of 28, in the last week, F'king Pitiful....

I wish Donnie BB great success as a Mgr. but I hate those f'king Bums....! so, yep, it could be worse, watching Guggenheim throw his money around like its play paper. Having a Roster of more players with a salary over 20 million than any other team. Yet, getting no bang on their buck, let alone, many analysts said prior to the Season, on Paper, the Bums could be untouchable.....my ass...that prediction like most, is hypothetical, failing to take into account one damn thing, if any.
