yes its not the refs!!!!!!!!!!! yes, the rangers are the most undisciplined team in hockey.. ALL YEAR! yEs refs normally call a penalty in a post season game 1 minute into OT...... yes, the refs n league would never make it so obvious that 1 would ever think they would try and prolong a series with ridiculous calls..... nhl refs r the bestworstest

I'll tell you, we won the game so we move on from the refs, but that was pretty comical stuff. They really tried last night, and I am a guy that does not get on the refs.

8 PP's for Montreal to 3 for us...unheard of in the playoffs. And we had ONE yes ONE full PP all night. ONE.

And how many of our penalties were in the O zone...maybe 4?

And the type of calls you just don't make in the playoffs. Little ticky tac stuff that has no real affect on the play, so you don't call that stuff in the playoffs. Oh but they did. The crowd was going crazy on the refs. After a while it was almost a joke.

What really bothered me is it was one-sided. Call everything on us, ticky tac stuff included, but not on them. Girardi clearly hooked NOTHING. Miller tossed into the net NOTHING. Kreider clearly interfered with in the 3rd NOTHING. That is what got me going. If the refs said we will be tight on both teams just in case, okay be tight on both teams. But it was lopsided. When you see a playoff game at 8-3 PP's for one team. And one team gets ONE full 2 minute PP the whole game, while the other team has PP after PP, it is a joke.

With that said the Rangers clearly need to show more discipline. Pouliot has become the king of the stupid, meaningless, O zone penalty these playoffs. Wake up man.

I am happy we won. The PK was AWESOME...really AWESOME. We played a great game. I just hope we are smarter in game 5, and the refs call it a little more evenly as well. If we get that I think we can win game 5. I will be interested to see the Canadiens mindset. Sure they will say all the right stuff, but will their play show they believe. We'll see.

Chuck, you would have loved ranger hater milbury between periods talking about how montreal's embellishing was not emmy worthy it was OSCAR worthy and saying they should have gotten 4 minute minors. The only things the canadians didn't have on them were the exploding blood packs that spurted out on any contact. Ha ha ha

yeah mel...I was really surprised to hear Milbury and Jones both ripping MTL like that. They went after Therrien pretty hard too. You know it must be bad if those guys are siding with the Rangers.

Great win last night, these games are taking years off my life. Marty with one of the better shots we've seen all playoffs. Finally a guy who can finish from the tough angle and doesnt just throw it at the goalie's chest.

Hagelin has probably been our best forward this series. Kid is flying around and the puck is finding him. What a difference his speed makes.

This game shouldnt have been that close. If we had stayed out of the box just a little more, and Stralman doesnt make that moroniccccccc play to give up an odd-man rush, Hank probably gets a shutout. I think Eddie said it was Girardi but that was definitely Stralman taking a leisurely skate to the boards to say hi to Pierre, leaving Staal and Hank out to dry.

Stralman made a terrible play there. And Staal wasn't that good either last night. That pair struggled.

We have seen the true colors of the Canadiens and Therrien this series. We have seen why Bruins fans hate them and call them whiners. I never knew it was this bad until this series. I will be very happy if/when we finish them off. What a bunch of bit*hes the whole team/coach are.

What the Canadiens were doing was embarrassing to watch, but the Rangers fell right into their traps and didn't adjust. After getting called for a penalty for high sticking, the Rangers kept using their sticks on the Canadiens and they'd immediately flop to the ice and kept getting the calls. It was very dumb of NY not to adjust and stop using your sticks so much against them. The refs weren't calling roughing, charging, boarding or any other body check type penalties, it was all from use of the stick, and all game we basically didn't adjust like a bunch of idiots. Glad it didn't cost us the game b/c it would have been a real shame that MTL would have won with that type of performance.

The NHL should follow the NBA's lead and start handing out fines and if necessary repeat offender suspensions for hockey's version of the NBA flop, the embellishment. It's terrible for the game.

You would think the officials will be watching for it next game. I have no issue with selling a penalty to a certain degree. Last night was just completey ridiclous. Subban I have zero respect for as a player. His phony leader crap. He's clearly an all about me guy.

I like the idea of it being a double minor.

I will bet anyone Rangers get called for embellishment
in Montreal! Someone needs ring Markov's bell..........
real hard. Cheap shot azzzhole. Miller never saw it coming
as with Stepan. This asinine trend has to stop. I am
hoping RANGERS play within themselves and just score
more goals than these phonies. End their shame.
    GOOOOO RANGERS.

    GOOOO RANGERS.

I am sick of Montreal hockey club's entitlement to the
    Stanley Cup.
