Two was predictable by the league, that said prust got two because of the injury. Weise wasnt injured should have been 1.
Agreed Lundy. But now with max 2 games left, and Prust's suspension, and this being the same kind of hit I thought two was the number they would focus on. I have no issues with it.
If he didn't show his elbow flaring after the hit it may have helped his cause, but two is just right.

Pretty much what I thought. After the Prust situation there couldn't really do more than two games. Especially when it was clear the on ice officials in that game were so incompetent they didn't even give Prust a penalty.

he should not have gotten 1! he got thrown out of the game, team was penalized for 5 minutes and the team lost, prust got no penalty ,only 2 games for an injury???? and his team won that game????

2 was expected and that's it. Still think it was a joke. Prust was only getting 1 till it was announced Step had his jaw broken. Late hit by a repeat offender resulting in a broken jaw vs non late hit by 1st time offender with no injury. I see the equivalency. Love how the league spoke of the elevation of the hit, yet didn't mention that with Prust, which is exactly what he did. Why am I not surprised by any of this?
Was never going to be more than 2 but based on prust's worse hit and no penalty during the game action moore should not have gotten more than a game. But it is montreal and those whining bitches were on this non-stop till they got their pound of flesh. Imo if we had to lose someone moore as good as anyone as not critical player and diaz can easily replace him for a couple of games.
Prust hit was not worse. At best it's even, but more likely Moore's was worse b/c he purposely changed directions to nail Weise while Stepan was in Prust's direct path once he cut right to avoid Vanek. Moore also used his elbow a lot more than Prust who used mostly shoulder, if not all shoulder.
31, don't see how prust hit wasn't worse. He broke stepans jaw, hit was a lot later than moores and unlike moore who got a 5 m inute major and match penalty prust didn't even get a minor from the 4 blind mice on the ice. The nhl explanation also discusses how prust had to change direction to get stepan. Doesn't matter now cause they both got to but prust had way the worse hit of the 2..
