He should have been pulled, because not only did it spark the team, but with Lundqvist when he gives up a bunch early in a game he usually dosen't settle down, it only ends up worse. So it was the number of goals in a short span, not necessarily that he was that awful. The team responded, but the defense couldn't hold the fort.
Threads like this is when i think it's unfair that Dump is banned while people like Pasta are allowed to post.
why don't you stick to the discussions and quit the personal attacks, is it that u don't know how to communicate? we are discussing the players and their performances which is perfectly normal. you don't like what i have to say IGNORE IT!
Pasta, when you talk about Hank needing to close the deal, you mean the team does. You speak as if this game is played 1 on 5. If they get shut out, do you expect Hank to score. If they give up 5 breakaways, 15 point blank shots, and they lose 2-1, is that on Hank? Come on now. He's been magnificent all playoffs, the best in the league, and has 1 kind of off night when the rest of the team was also horrible. It seems as though you are satisfied with nothing less than perfection.
again, if not for hank we r not even having this discussion, i posted a simple truth, and some of you have blown it out of proportion
Here you go PASTA SALAD pissed off goalies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v9wZF-aQ9U Side note, i really miss the Detroit vs Colorado matchups for the late 90's Roy vs Osgood after the Lemiux hit.
that video was awesome, thanks for sharing, Roy was a gangster back in the day.... took no shit from anybody
Hank's legacy COULD be effected by losing this series, it depends if and how we lose it. If he plays in games 6 and 7 like he played in game 5, he absolutely loses some respect. If we lose both games despite him playing awesome (something I can't imagine happening), then one bad game in the middle of the series will likely be easily forgotten.
Hank might turn out to be the best NYR goaltender to never win a Stanley Cup..........right up there with Eddie Giacomin.
