Dude... I don't know... Dame was EVERYWHERE last year at the ASG, made it to the second round BECAUSE of his shot. $100 million dollar Adidas contract.... if it could be anyone, it may just be Dame.
It all depends on the voting structure. Under the current system, Rapist Bryant will get voted in even though he will not have played (predicting) half the season (again). He'll be voted in, so it will be between CP3, Steph & Dame (and perhaps a few others).
He will be in the discussion in the Media mostly because people still like to talk about the AS selections based off of position instead of as guards/forwards Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Even if he doesn't make it, that won't diminish him. The West is so completely stacked in guards. I think he could beat out Parker or even Curry though. I'm really not that impressed with Curry. I think he's a really good player, but I don't think he's worth the hype.
He probably won't make it if the other guards are healthy. Think, Paul, Bryant and Westbrook were all out last year. As good as Damian is, He will never win the popularity vote. btw, MM, how are you faring with your health these days?
He received the 2nd-most votes from the coaches (LMA was first). I guess that's "fringe" to non-homers.
TNT announces the subs in order of votes. It was discussed repeatedly on this board when the AS reserves were announced.
The very first line of the video was in no particular order. http://www.nba.com/video/channels/t.../20140130-inside-west-reserves.nba/index.html
Fringe in the sense that he is deserving, along with many others, not that he he may or may not be deserving. If everyone is healthy, one or two people will be left out, that deserve to be there
