Well is Aldridge one of the prime elite players in the NBA such as Jordan, Magic, Bird, Lebron, Kobe, Duncan, Chamberlain, Russell, Dr. J? There are very few of those kind of players and I think Aldridge is a step down. That might be a better question?

I'd trade him rather than pay him that kind of bread. Get a top five pick, draft a power forward and wait a couple of years. Give you time to build up the bench.
No JK. I have no idea what the top ten, top twenty players average, I wouldn't put him top ten, maybe at the end of the top twenty. 127 seems to be a little much
for a guy who has as many holes in his game as Lamarcus does.

LA is worth whatever Paul wants to pay him. It's a moot point. Carmelo Anthony didn't make the playoffs on a max contract. LA is a franchise player and unselfish. He stepped up his game and deserves respect. You realize how much relief pitchers are paid in baseball to throw 30 pitches every 3 games? All professional athletes are overpaid. We know that. Loyalty is underrated in sports.
