Colt signed to fall camp. I really hope he turns his life around. He's flawed, but he's not a bad person.
I really didn't know much about Lyerla until he got to Green Bay, but as Packers fan it's non-stop Colt in all of the paper's that cover the team and there have been some pretty interesting articles digging into all of the stuff that led to his meltdown at U of O. No idea if he's really gotten his life sorted out, but it sounds like getting out of the state of Oregon isn't a bad way to go and landing in the NFL's smallest city probably means a few less opportunities to get distracted or get in trouble. Hopefully this story gets a happy ending - seems more like a kid with trust issues and no stability growing up more than being a bad guy, but who knows.
Yeah, they didn't want to waste a draft pick on him, so it's no big deal. I'm just bitter because I really hate watching people with a golden ticket just throw away their lives.
