That's with the SA numbers. He was putting up 7/5/4 before being waived. Those are great bench numbers.

And the MLE gets you a Mo.

Your rotation gets one player shorter, due to the 2-for-1.

I don't like including Wesley in the deal because of his presence in the locker room. And Hibbert coming from a unstable seeming locker. Seems unlikely, but rolo, Wright and Crabbe fits financially. Swaps out their c, but saves them also almost 5 million which helps in bringing back Stephenson.

Careful when dealing with Indy. You might get Pritchslapped.

This would be the likely scenario in terms of a trade and I still don't like it. I rather just wait and see if the Thunder amnesty Perkins (who I hate) then sign him to be the backup 5 who can play D and if that doesn't workout look for guys like Okafor, Mohammed or Steimsma.

I think Nazr is retiring to go into a front office job.

The deal would drop them to 60,050,000 in salary. The tax is expected to increase to about 75 million, giving them space to use roughly full MLE and sign Stephenson to a good sized starting deal and still stay below the tax line.

Yes, but we would be sacrificing chemistry and losing out about 5 million in cap space that could be used to sign another good player.

    Lopez+Defensive backup center+Good veteran bench player(s) > Hibbert+Defensive backup center

We won't have 5 million in cap space regardless. We'll have our MLE, BAE. So we use MLE for backup big, or BAE for backup big in either scenario. With neither Wright nor Crabbe in our normal rotation going forward, most likely, all this move does is swap Rolo with Hibbert, and make Paul pay a little more money.

Hmmm well that makes it a little more interesting. Still it would be hard to trade a guy like Lopez who gives it his all every game for Hibbert who disappears but is ultimately more talented.

Blazers got a Mo for about half the MLE last season.

On a one year deal with a player ETO. So he could audition for a bigger contract.

Who would start at sg if Wes was traded? Future Stuckey with the MLE (that's an inside joke on another forum, sorry)?

Considering intangibles, Lopez' team value is not really much lower than Hibbert's. If Hibbert's trade value really is at an all-time low, then trading two starters for him would be overpaying. If Indy really is concerned about chemistry, they should be willing to swap Hibbert for RoLo + filler (ie, Wright). Any more than that, and I say no.

I would offer some young talent for him. I think both Thomas Robinson and CJ have value from astute basketball scouts. I would offer both along with Leonard and Wright. They could always use some of them in other trades as well.

I would then move Freeland back to PF and give Claver minutes at SF. It would give us 4 decent bigs and Indiana two good young players (plus Leonard could develop as well)

I would swap Rolo and filler for Hibbert.

I see there is a risk and I would miss Rolo's offense (and personality). But this should make the defense better and maybe even the offense, depending on which Hibbert shows up.

Really? That's horrible. It will take Rolo or Wes or Batum. Not just our shitty ass bench to make Indianas bench even more shitty. Be smart about this.
