Yeah Popodoc the Kings won 3 Game 7's this year I am sure it had nothing to do with the fact that they have the same core of players that went thru the war 2 years ago to win a cup. But both LA and Chicago are average teams (rolls eyes)
Come on Dis. The Hawks were up 2-0 3-2 4-3 and lost at home in game 7. All of you can throw that experience bullshit out the window. It was a total choke job. These guys are all professionals. Its not like highschool players who are nervous. They play their whole lives for this chance. Both teams had experience but you don't choke leads away like that and still claim experience. The Rangers have experience too. So put the experience BS to rest. Experience does not win Championships. Winning more games than your opponent does. And the Hawks didn't do that with all their experience.
And once again you are just like Chuck. I have never said LA or Chicago were average teams. I said they were good teams that look tired to me. And I stand by that.
I agree with you that both teams looked tired. Kings played 21 games. But this concept of Chicago choking has another side to it: They played a resilient team that doesn't quit, knows how to win and kept coming. I just happen to think the Kings are a very hard team to beat 4 times. I think the Sharks, Blues and Hawks would agree. As would all the teams they played 2 years ago. I don't think Chicago choked but you might be right both teams might be tired. The Kings looked pretty strong in the 3rd though and nobody has played more games. Call me crazy but I don't love playing teams with core players that have been thru the wars and know how to win
Call me crazy but I didn't know you were playing. As far as the Rangers are concerned, they could care less. They know they are playing a very good team that has played more hockey in the last 3 years than other team. They know the team they are playing looks tired. They know the team they are playing didn't play much defense in their series against the Hawks. They know the team they are playing has a shaky goaltender right now and their home ice has not been much of an advantage this playoff season. So believe all the so called experts and gurus if you want. I happen to believe the Rangers are set up very well to win this series. It won't be easy. Nothing ever is with a New York Team. But I will stick with Rangers in 6
Neither one of us is playing, how do you know what the Rangers are thinking? We can agree to disagree about how good/tired whatever the Kings are I am predicting Rangers in 6 as well
Because I played baseball at a very high level. I know how an athlete thinks. They don't fear their opponents some of you fans do. You may not like some of the things Pasta or I say but Pasta will tell you the same thing I have. You just don't want to listen. You would rather listen to the so called experts.
I just don't agree with you when it comes to saying previous results by a team with the saw core doesn't matter. As a longtime Ranger fan I would rather not play the Kings. You are confident which is fine. I could care less about your sports resume we fundamentally disagree about matchups mattering in the playoffs or the challenge of playing teams that have core of players playing together w success for a long time. All good you are entitled to your opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You said you knew how the Rangers were thinking as if you were an insider in their locker room. Being an elite baseball player I would think you would understand the importance of matchups in sports We don't agree it's fine. I would bet most on this board don't want the Kings. You think Chicago choked. As if who they were playing was insignificant. I think the Kings wanted it more. I think the Kings are one of the most resilient hockey teams the NHL has seen lately. They are 7-0 in elimination games this year alone. They have won 3 G7s on the road this year. They have a forward in Justin Williams who is 7-0 in G7s and has more points in G7s then any player in NHL history. They just beat the Cup champs. And the core of the team has their name on the Cup. I believe in matchups. I happen to not prefer this matchup as Rangers play better vs speed teams then big physical teams. But I am stoked for Finals and am hopeful the Rangers win in 6. All good Popodoc we don't have to agree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
