Who here went next gen PS4 or Xbox One (ZOMG NERD VIDEO GAMES)

I would have bought a ps4 a few weeks ago. None in stock so I didn't. Probably won't get one now as I like sleeping all night and if I get hooked on a game I won't.

 

I blew through it in a few days. Haven't had a game hook me like that in a while. Just perfection for South Park fans. I might even give it another go with a different class one of these days.

 

The Microsoft store was apparently just selling Xbox One's with Titanfall for $400 (not anymore though). I think the same price as the Ps4 along with a game is approaching fair.

PS4 Patch Adding Video Editing, HDCP Off and Twitch 720p

Sony has revealed that the next major PS4 patch will bring big enhancements to the console's Share function, and also let you turn off HDCP, enabling gameplay capture via HDMI.

The company has revealed that it's prioritising changes and fixes for issues based on user feedback, and plans to release this next patch "soon."

"This upcoming update will add a rich video editor with a simple tool to personalise your video clips, and you’ll also be able to export to and save the videos and screenshots you create by pressing the Share button to a USB drive," a blog post explains. "In addition, this update will add an HDCP off option for capturing gameplay via HDMI, a feature we’ve previously said would come after launch.

"We recognise that some gamers want to record and share longer clips of their gameplay sessions, and we’re excited to deliver this option with PS4. There’s a lot more coming in this update as well, so stay tuned for more — there will be plenty in the update to excite everyone."

Additionally, the company also explained that a separate update is planned to enable you to both archive Twitch broadcasts, and raise their resolution. As soon as we know more regarding a release schedule we'll let you know.

In case you missed it yesterday, the company announced it's working on its own 3D Virtual Reality headset to rival the upcoming Oculus Rift. Seeing as sales figures for the console are currently sitting at comfortably over 6 million, there's definitely a market for the new device.

 

Finally bought a PS4. Took me long enough, but with the upcoming wedding, honeymoon and buying a new house, I've been crazy busy. Excited for UFC to come out in June.

My friend bought it and said it is pretty short and just isn't as good as he expected. Still I wanna pick it up but now I will wait.

 

Wow, i'm not liking it either, it feels like every other Ubisoft game, ha ha.

 

I bought Persona 3 and 4, which are supposed to be like 100 hours a piece. What am i doing with my life?

 

About to do the last mission! This game is awesome, the way I've been playing it makes it feel like a combination of splinter cell and GTA. There is tons to do outside of the main story missions, so it's really only as short as you want it to be.

Not at all disappointed in the purchase, great game to tide you over for some of the highly anticipated releases such as elder scrolls online or destiny.

 

Bought a mountain bike instead. I miss the fun of raping people, but life is better outdoors

 

UFC demo is on PSN for those who wanna try it out. I played it and it feels really arcady. Hopefully they work on it some more because I'm not sure I'd buy it right away if the demo is what the game is going to be like.

 

Get MLB The Show it's pretty good.

 

For the first game in a series it's pretty good, Not great but good. It plays more like an Assassins creed and acts more like a GTA game. It's doesn't even compare to Red Dead Redemption though.
