Wow, you bring homerism to a whole different level. I hope they don't lose for your sake, you'll be the first one lined up at the GWB.
BTW...it is the SCF and we are bickering in here. I don't get it. WHO CARES what another board member predicts or says. Let's focus on the team and trying to win the Cup. All the rest of the stuff is BS really. If someone picks the Kings to win, good for them. Doesn't mean they aren't a Ranger fan, just means they think the Kings will win the series. All good.
should be a brutal series, some people saying the kings will walk away with it dont understand the electricity in the city right now. new york loves the rangers and the garden is going to be a madhouse. that said, kings in 7
From reading the hockey internet sites and sports pages across North America, might as well just give the Cup to the Kings and let's call it a day. Many state the Rangers are not deserving......than what or who? I just love upsets! And sports is the one arena where upsets usually occur. Enjoy the games. This is rarified air for many Ranger fans. Take it in and the ride will be a fun one.
Henrik only has to stand on his head for 4 not 7 games. That being said the Creme de Cacoa is ready as are the blood pressure pills. Only thing I'm waiting for is either Chuck's guarantee or how many goals the rangers need to score before the game is over. LOL
Hank obviously has to play well but I think he needs to absolutely STEAL 2 games of the series and they win the Cup
I do not know what gets Nash scoring.....maybe a hard board check by Stoll or Brown or Doughty ? When will the light go on? I sure hope you're right.
NHL.com picks: 10-2 Kings. Other than one person who picked Kings in 5, they mainly went Kings in 6 (two said 7...Biron and McLennan). Makes the total including ESPN 17-5 Kings. I like it. No one picking us. Big underdogs. That is good. We should embrace that role. I suspect we will.
I know the Kings are good, but so many make them out to be this incredible, unbeatable team. I don't see it. They won 1 more game than us during the year and had 4 more points. They came into the playoffs as the lowest scoring offensive team of the 16. They were stretched to the limit in every series. I know Gabby has helped them a lot, but how many lucky off a skate, arm, or rear end goals did they get to pad their stats during the playoffs. I fully understand they're big and deep down the middle. I also think they played mostly free wheeling teams in the playoffs that gave them lots of room to get lots of chances. I don't think they have faced a team like we have that is dedicated to taking away their space on the ice. While we have some small guys (Hags, St. Louis, Zuc), they are really fast and quick. Nash, Kreider, Boyle, McD, Staal, and Poullion are also big guys who can play with them. I see the Rangers pretty much shutting them down offensively, making the games low scoring where the team that gets the opportunistic goal wins. Henrik has been the best goalie of them all so far in the playoffs and he is on a mission, as is St. Louis. I feel we have a great chance to win and will do so in 6. Wouldn't sell my seats if I got $5000 per. Lets Go Rangers!
