Texas Rangers reliever Alexi Ogando has been shut down for a minimum of three weeks after an MRI of his right elbow showed some acute inflammation. The club termed it as "wear and tear" and said Ogando is not expected to need surgery. The 30-year-old was relieved that the scans didn't show anything more serious.
