I'm actually pumped for this. Last year's finals were prolly the best I've ever seen in my ~15 years of following the NBA. Can't wait for round II.

Well you'll be missing out. If you want any more indication of how high level championship caliber basketball works and how far we're away from it, I'd recommend watching. We can also see what we're missing and maybe figure out how to address those deficiencies.

As a basketball fan, I'm glad these two teams made it. Easily the two best in the league.

It is the Finals. Probably deserves it's own thread.

Both teams are making uncharacteristic turnovers. It feels like San Antonio has more in the first few minutes than they did in the first two games against Portland, at least in making stupid passes.

Duncan is making some plays early on. Don't think he will have the stamina to keep it up though

Ginobili is on freaking fire. Imagine this Spurs team with Duncan/Parker/Ginobili of 5 years ago, and the supporting cast now.

They may have won 72 games instead of 62.

Ginobli is playing like he has something to prove. Last year he was horrible.

Chris Bosh hits threes like Bill Laimbeer did in the playoffs.

I didn't see this thread. Good merge! My bad, I didn't mean to start a duplicate thread. Mea culpa.

Air conditioning burned out the AT&T Center, and it's 83 degress right now with 64% humidity in San Antonio at 9:48pm local time.

Expect players to start cramping. Also, switch to Verizon ASAP.

Heat. SA are doing things they haven't all playoffs long and Heat deserve credit for that. OKC even though they lost showed how to beat the Spurs in games three and four.

My god I can't stand Mark Jackson. F'ing'aye. Shut up already with your bizarre nonsensical sayings. And Van Gundy's attitude is unbearable. I wish he'd walk out in front of a train.

    Go Spurs!

    :)
