Re: Arizona pulls major upset against #8 Cal!!! I can't believe it! Arizona actually pulled out the upset against #8 ranked Cal and beat them 24-20. Arizona was losing 17-3 at halftime and rallied in the 2nd half to win. Willie Tuitama was great in the 2nd half and really showed some maturity for a sophmore. Syndric Steptoe had some big catches and punt returns and Chris Henry also had some nice rushes. Arizonas defense was spectacular and forced 3 interceptions, held Marshawn Lynch to only a few yards in the 2nd half. Also when Cal had possesion at Arizonas 1 yard line at the 1st and 10 Arizona got 3 consecutive stops which forced Cal to kick the field goal instead which kept Cal from tying it. Great game for Arizona and now they've pulled off two upsets in two weeks.
Re: Arizona pulls major upset against #8 Cal!!! Your right, this is Unbelievable and has three teams in the top 10 loosing in the same week. With Lousiville, Auburn and Cal all loosing. This clear's up the top by just a bit, but still makes things really interesting from here on out. The winner of the Michigan/Ohio State game will obviously be in the National Title game, as they will have made it through without a loss. After that, Texas, Florida, USC, Michigan/Ohio State, and Arkansas all have legit cases to be in the national title game if they win out. If texas wins out, then Texas will have won the Big 12 and a confernce championship game. Especially if Ohio State beats Michigan, they can say that their only loss was to Ohio State early in the season when they were trying to discover themselves, and break in a new young quarterback without much experience. They are easily better now than they was back when they lost to Ohio State, and could beat them given a second chance.Florida will have went through what is very easily the toughest conference in the nation, the SEC, having only lost to Auburn. Even the supposed "easy" teams in the SEC are hard teams to beat. They will have beaten LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama, and whoever they play in the SEC championship game all in the same season, as well as their rival Florida State. If Arkansas wins out, they can say the same thing, saying that they beat Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and Florida all in the same season. Their only loss was the first game of the season to USC, and they have made changes, and gotten MUCH better since then. They deserve a chance to play in the National Title.USC's only loss was a trap game against a good Oregon State game. They would have beaten Cal, Oregon, Notre Dame, Arkansas and Nebraska in the same season. They not only beat Arkansas they embaressed Arkansas, so who's to say they couldn't win in the SEC. Especially if Arkansas wins out at the same time USC does, Arkansas will have won the SEC, meaning that USC will have a win over the SEC champion.If the Michigan/Ohio State game is a very good game, then the looser can claim their only loss all season was to the other team. They won in the always tough big ten conference, and their only loss was in a very close good game to the other that could have easily been won. If Ohio State looses to Michigan they can say that they had a win over the Texas. If Texas wins out, and wins the Big 12, Ohio State will have a win over the winner of the Big 12.
