I don't even want to listen to this teams excuses and what they feel they need to do in game three. They lost the series tonight. Absolute choke job.

Tired of hearing that shit too. They're not beating this team four out of five.

They haven't even played a home game yet. Still lots to go. Win Gm 3 and we're back in it.

I agree with you Mess. Not as upset or angry as you are, but overall I just don't see the Rangers beating the Kings 4 out of 5 games. And that is me speaking as an honest hockey fan, not a Ranger fan. Hard to see it IMO.

The two loses are the result of blowing four two goals leads in two games. That being said game three is a no excuses must win game obviously or else they're going to get swept.

It is a little annoying to hear them keep saying we just need to do a better job of getting pucks out, when you know that's probably not going to happen. It's not over but getting at least one there would've helped their psyche. My fear is LA actually will play with less pressure on the road and not fall behind anymore, but maybe that's better for the Rangers to only have a one goal lead.lol

The fact that they made the same mistakes as in game one shows you their words mean very little. They just continue making the same mistakes.

Our dmen play timidly in tight games which is a recipe for disaster. Then the puck ends up around the net and its bumper pool until it ends up behind Lundqvist. LA's not easy to play with their length but still you have to be decisive.

BINGO. That is my fear also. We'll see on that one. Game 3 will really be a huge challenge to us mentally IMO. That's going to be the biggest battle into that game for us I believe.

rangers have played good enough to win both, they did not, with a combination of very bad play, missed opps, and very poor officiating.. timing is everything and those 3 factors i mention all came at the most in opportune itmes, what else is new as a rangers fan.... the kings capitalized on every missed opp. blown call etc.... thats a championship team!

thats why i felt in a round about way that this rangers team was playing with house money

It's the classic give the Kings and inch and they take a yard. They can come back in games without help. The Rangers have just made it easy on them. I get the bad call but you have to overcome that especially when you still have the lead and then also have plenty of chances to win the game later on.

i agree mess, however there was a good chance that the rangers would have won in reg had the refs made the call on the intereference.. thats a fact!

I know the refs have given us some good calls Pasta, but I wouldn't call the officiating poor. Overall they have done fine despite some bad calls against the Kings. I think that have been pretty fair.

chuck would you agree that the girardi play that gave up the game 1 winner was as bad as the non interefence call?

No I would not, and it isn't even close. The Girardi play literally ended the game in OT. The questionable no call GI still left us up 4-3 and in control of our destiny. If Kreider scores on one of his 4 chances in OT. If McD doesn't commit a sloppy TO on the Gabby tying goal. If we clear the puck when given the chance before the Brown goal in OT. If our 3:30 of OT PP time wasn't TERRIBLE. If any of those things happen we still win game 2.

So it isn't even close Pasta. And I am not sure what the point of comparing them is anyway.

anybody using the word "choke when describing this Rangers' team is so off base it doesn't warrant a response. Give credit to the L.A. Kings. They are lethal if you give them an inch. They are a group of battle tested champions. The Rangers' need to play near perfect hockey to beat this group, there that good. We have played to very good games, but that would have been good enough to beat about 26 or so teams in this league, but not this one. Having said that we were one hit post away ( krieder ) from going back to New York even. If we can stay away from over handling the puck in our D zone, we are quite capable of winning both games in New York. One or two mistakes at a critical time next game and we could be looking at a sweep. L.A., simply to good at exploiting any miscues. We will see if all can bring their "a" game in games 3 and 4. This Rangers' team has come up big this entire playoff. It could simply be that the Kings' are better. No shame in that. Until you lose 4 games, you are not eliminated. Lets Go Rangers !

thats why we are worlds apart when it comes to undestanding the affects of a bad call cause you think just because the call was not made with seconds left it has no impact, sorry chuck thats not how it goes..

a bad decision on anyones part at any time could change the whole complexity of the game

No that is not what I think. But comparing a questionable call with 17 minutes left in the game when we still had the lead afterwards, to a play that actually allowed them to score the winning goal in sudden death OT is no comparison Pasta.
