I love what this team did this year. I'm sad and let down but at the same time I know they aren't better than the Kings.
Let me also give Richards some props. In his 3 years here we have an ECF, a 2nd round, and a SCF. Yes he is on the down side now and needs to go this summer, 3 weeks, but give him credit. He was solid here for two of three seasons, and in three seasons here we won 6 playoff series. That is really solid after NOTHINg for years. Thanks for the memories Brad.
We def win Gm 4 and take it back to La where we didnt trail in regulation for 6 periods. Can make this hard on the kings and hope the tired legs begin
My concern with AV's system remains. Since preseason I've told buddies we'd struggle against physical teams, as the Canucks always seemed to do, and the east is full of physical teams. We beat Philly due to their lack of a good goalie, beat the Pens and Canadiens because they play a type of game that AV can counter and plan against, and now we're gonna lose to LA. It is what it is. Great season though, but we need AV to realize this isn't the West and you need size AND skill. We got lucky to not play Boston honestly. All in all, great year, hopefully we can build on it and get better though and AV and Sather see the needs this team has and the rejects that should be off it.
Do you expect the coach to make his players bigger some how? If you want a bigger team you have to get those players.
Haha, I was just thinking the same thing. Let me sum up every Ranger's comments between now and game four: "We just have to take it one game at a time, one period at a time, one shift at a time." You're welcome.
Yes Al. We did have 3 good years with Richards here. Years 1 and 3 were solid for him. He did score 20 this season. He was solid until this series. He is just past his prime now. No harm, he will be gone in 3 weeks. Thanks for the 3 years and 6 playoff round wins Brad. He was the defacto captain after Cally was traded.
Which is why we would have been much better off playing the Hawks as most of the experts said. Who knows if we win that series, but we may have. Oh well, nothing we can do about it now.
I called game two a horrific loss and one of the worst playoff loses in this franchises history. That's saying a lot by the way. My point is that I knew that loss was going to be difficult for this team to come back from.
For sure Mess. But that makes us bad fans.... Being honest makes you bad. But it is what it is now. All we can do is look forward.
perhaps if kept in shape prior to last year he wouldnt had a season where he is pulled for the last two games of the playoffs. His time as a ranger will not be remembered by anyone. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
