For now at least, hold off on reconstructive ankle surgery for Rangers first baseman Mitch Moreland.

After saying Sunday that he was having surgery on Wednesday to repair the ankle, which was going to keep him out about three months, Moreland is now pushing surgery back a few days to get a second opinion. If he doesn't need the full reconstructive surgery now, he could opt to have a bone removed from his left ankle and be out about three to four weeks.
