I know there has been a lot of speculation among talking heads about Warren getting ready to enter the race, especially if Hillary Clinton decides not to run. Warren is pimping her book right now which is exactly the type of book many presidential hopefuls put out during their run. She had stated in the past that she was not running, but apparently some of her language has changed recently allowing for a little wiggle room.

She makes the Obamas and Clintons seem downright conservative, especially with regards the financial ties they have with wall street. She made a name for herself as a Harvard Law professor where she worked hard with consumer protection issues, diving deep into the financial woes of the US with regards to wealth distribution, unfair banking laws and her work led directly to the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

As an adviser and most recently as Senator, she has kept her focus on the financial mess in America.

I have heard her speak on several news talkshows over the past few years and I usually find myself not only agreeing with her, but feeling jazzed about her chances to actually make beneficial change. I don't know if that feeling is well placed, but I could certainly see her as a very strong D candidate.

    Your thoughts.

I think it's too good to be true. I am so jaded, I assume something would go wrong. She wouldn't have the power needed, or she would get corrupted. I believe she is one of the few, truly good people in government

    For now.

power corrupts. And if she doesn't allow herself to be corrupted, I don't know if she can raise the capital to run.

I like her thoughts on student debt, but I haven't really taken a long look at her. I'm just so tired of 99.99% of politicians. They're all full of shit, and they're all owned by someone.

For the record I have often said the exact same thing as Nate concerning politicians and both parties only to have others on this forum be emphatic that all of this countries problems are caused only by Democrats.

Until people realize that there are no Republicans or Democrats, only corporate prostitutes, we will start to fix this country.

We need campaign finance reform and term limits.

Well I'm sure the GOP will put forth some stooge like Romney. What a joke of an organization. It's like they're trying to throw the elections.

Dude, no. Hillary is fucking awful.

Honestly, I don't think we're allowed to have a just and honest president because the people who get the nominations have to sell their souls just to get to that point. All the money goes to the people who whore themselves out to corporations.
