That's kind of my point, she's the least awful one to me at least, but they all suck ass so it doesn't matter i guess.
How many times have I seen this. If a thread starts to go Democratic, Republicans jump in with, "Both parties are bad." But if a thread is going Republican, they stay centered on their anti-Democrat message.
She passed herself off as being Native American in order to bypass the normal process for entering academia. She's a fraud who pretended to be a minority in order to advance. She'd be great for this country.
So far I haven't seen anything to suggest Warren is in the pockets of anyone, like is the case with the vast majority of politicians. Perhaps that will change, but so far she has been a very vocal advocate for consumer rights, worker rights, and attacked very fervently the banking, investing and money service companies in America. As someone who is looking to sell out, this seems like exactly the wrong avenue to go.
So she's pro-union/anti-capitalism. I wonder if she'll have to lie about that in order to fool idiots into voting for her.
That's the argument her last opponent trotted out time and time again, making him look petty and unwilling to tackle the issues. If this is used on a national scale, it will be like the birther movement and just get laughs and end up helping Warren. This is a bs line of attack and one that I hope the republicans jump on if she does decide to run for pres.
I'm ready for a Republican president . . . although I agree a lot with Nate's view on politics (they all lie and have hidden agendas or are puppets for whoever fills their pockets with campaign money)
That's all I can remember her for doing. Tauting herself as " part Cherokee". A better description might "complete liar".
So you're fine with her pretending to be a minority in order to use affirmative action in order to get into academia. I wonder which real Native's spot she took? She's a liar. America doesn't care, so she'll be great for America.
Not only is Warren not Cherokee, her ancestors helped round up the Cherokee when they were kicked off of their lands. http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/05/cruel-irony-in-elizabeth-warrens-cherokee-saga/
And this is the crux of the problem we have in America at being able to get quality politicians into office. They need to sell out to get elected. Or at least so far that's been the case for high level positions over the past couple decades. I don't know if Warren could pull off a more crappily funded campaign, but I think she would need to get a real grass roots effort or she would have to sell out.
