This is the opposite of anchor babies. It's people in Central America selling their kids to coyotes/smugglers in hopes of those kids making enough money in the US to send home.
It seems south america is more violent than our public schools. The kids are fleeing for their lives. When it's in our hemisphere, the bad guys are drug lords and gangs. When it's in the middle east, we call it al qaeda. We're getting a taste of what it's like for many of the middle east countries that had waves of immigrant refugees.
I find it hard to believe that kids who don't have their parents with them are ending up in these camps on what appears to be an overwhelming number. It screams human smuggling to me.
American churches are the main mover of these children, encouraging their parents to let them go and then paying to smuggle many of them to America. Then they sponsor them and the government allows them to remain forever and become servants of OUR LORD. It's basically a Children Cartel and it's every bit as despicable as any other slave trade.
The article carefully never mentions ages. "Children" can mean 5 year olds, or 17 year olds. At my half-Hispanic high school in California, most of us boys wanted a job. I had 2 at grocery stores, at age 16 years 2 months and 17 years 4 months. I once worked with a 14 year old. How about some facts, Washington Times.
From what I have heard, this is the truth. These kids hear if they make it to America, they can have a safe life. But they are told lies.
