He got on the All-Rookie team last year, and I know he was hurt, but he's stinking it up now. His numbers 20.3 mpg 3.4 ppg 4.1 rpg 22% FG What the hell is wrong with him? Not only is he a big disapointment to the Knicks so far, but he's letting me down in fantasy basketball haha.

I think there is too much pressure on him to perform after a great rookie season. it's bothering me tho that he still hasn't found any kind of stroke. he's getting open jumpers but he's not knocking them down. he's also trying to force shots. he's gotta be more aggressive because walt frazier made a good point, frye has not attempted a free throw this season. I think that if frye can be more aggressive on the block and get to the foul line he will regain his confidence. usually all you need is some free throws to get your stroke back.
Re: What the hell is wrong with Channing Frye?!?!?! even last year I thought Frye was greatly overated especially by Knicks fans....now I never expected him to fall this low but for a career I expect him to be around 15/17pts 7/9 rebs....he doesn't have the paint presence and I highly doubt he will ever be an all-star he will be an outside shooter but not even close to the capability of Dirk or Vlad Radmonovic...hes too scrawny at this point to have any type of paint presence what so ever

Too much pressure? There is no such thing as pressure when playing on the Knicks, they aren't expected to win any games lol. But too much pressure after a good rookie year? Please... even if he did the same as last year, fine. But he's playing like a D-League caliber player right now, honestly. Isiah was talking so much about "I'll bench anyone." Yeah right, if he followed up on that comment David Lee would be starting right now over Channing Frye.
Re: What the hell is wrong with Channing Frye?!?!?! anyone that plays in ny is going to face a lot of pressure. how can you say there is no pressure when playing on the knicks? you think isiah isn't feeling any pressure? you think marbury isn't feeling any pressure? you think eddy curry isn't feeling any pressure? you play in ny the media is gonna be all over you. you declare yourself as the best pg in the nba, you're gonna hear about it until you prove them wrong. isiah believes this team can be a good one so until they prove that he's gonna feel the heat. I don't think he's gonna finish the season on the bench. as for frye, Yeah he is playing like a d-league guy. anyone would know that but we know he's better than that. we expect better and ny'ers expect the best out of their guys.

Re: What the hell is wrong with Channing Frye?!?!?! He's just not aggressive at all. It's what plagued him at Arizona as well. He has a lot of talent but I don't think he cares enough to do well. If only he had half of David Lee's passion and aggressiveness.
