    at 39yrs old for another year. They just don't get it, which is good for us i guess.

    its not terrible, 2 million for a 20 minute above average dman. One year contract..they could have done a lot worse...

    i don't have a problem with the contract, but look at how old they are in the blue line. Gill, Streit and Timomen are in their late 30s and Timonen shouldn't be playing 20mins a game. Half your D being 40yo is not a good recipe for playoff success.
