In this tutorial, I am going to teach you how to split your text in half for a creative look1. Make your signature as you normally would until you are ready to add the text.2. Add your text layer with the text you want. I chose Arial Font set to Bold Italic, Font size 48.3. Right Click on the text layer through the layers palette and select Blending Options to get your text layer to your liking. Here is mine.4. Right Click on the text layer through the layers palette and select Rasterize Layer.5. Select the Rectangular Marquee tool and take a selection over the half of your text that you want to move, like so. (An interesting spin on this is after highlighting some of the text, press delete to cut parts of it out, then skip step 6)6. Switch over to your Move tool and move the selected text area where you want it.There you go! You have split text. Now is where you add the final touches to make the text better. I added a motion blur(duplicate layer and motion blur the bottom layer) and a pixel font inside the main font, also with a motion blur on it and here is your final product.
I've done this before, a little different tho. I just simplified the layer and split it into two pieces. I didn't have any layer effects on it tho.
