I think at the end of the day as they say it will come down to just too many guys playing poorly for it to be overcome. You expect so much better from guys on a stage like this.
We all agree that the strategy sucked and that most likely LA scoring was an inevitability. We just didn't want the refs to decide it and be the reason for it.
Well, crappy 3rd in LA again with like 7 icings, but now we have a shot, and that's all we could have asked for really. You can't like the way our D just leaves guys open all over, but now we just need one to send this back to NY. Can we win one OT game in LA, or do we get beat in 5 games losing 3 of our 4 L's in OT...crazy stuff. BTW...on that Gabby goal, any reason Stralman let's him just stand there? Weird.
Good lord I can't take any more of Girardi....how many giveaways in the last 5 minutes???? PLEASE pull your head out of your ass Dan.
Steve Casseri is an asshole. BOTH linesmen are saying faceoff should be in offensive zone and they had better view of it. He says otherwise because he has super sight and can see the play from the other side of the ice with players in front of him. He's the same ref whom has made calls that LA has benefitted from all night. That's why I have an issue. How can BOTH linesmen, one of whom was RIGHT THERE, be wrong, yet he was right when he was screened by players???? Honestly?
This is just my opinion, at the end of the day if we lose in OT again I won't blame anyone. If you lose 3 OT games in a series look in the mirror is my thinking. We had a ton of chances in game 2. Went into the 3rd period shell in game 5. Now we'll see how we play in OT here. But if we lose in OT again blames ourselves is how I see it. BUT with that said, law of averages says we are due for an OT win I think.
A huge problem with this team is that Lundy is on his own when the puck is in front of the Ranger net. Just weak ass players on this team.
Well they did get glorious chances in the double OT game which they didn't bury. Hopefully somebody can get one.
There is not one Ranger fan on the planet that would not trade Nash for Gabby..especially with this coach, that is exactly the player we are missing right now. Nash is never going to be loved here with the way he plays and his lack of production.
