Agreed. That is why to me our biggest need next year is a top 4 big physical dman. That would be my biggest focus this summer. We need it badly. A big physical presence back there. If McIlrath was ready prior to 2020 he could have been that guy.

Kreider 5 playoff goals in 15 games. Nash 3 playoff goals in 25 games. Really says it all and tells you Kreider plays well in big games. Nash is soft and mentally weak, and wilts in big games.

11 goals in 51 games now I think Mess said today. That is more than a trend, that is a huge issue.

And what if Torts didn't run him out of town by forcing him to lay down in front of shots and increasing his chances of getting hurt.

For nearly $8 million Nash is useless. People were praising him for having some hits earlier in the series and a six shot period. What the hell good is it and what other team deals with crap like that from a player of that caliber?

The long change....gotta get the puck in deep when you make changes...no more icing...Let's see the Rangers' speed reappear here!

Is Nash still feeling the effects of that concussion he got in November? I don't know what else to think.

I don't buy it. He had a huge scoring month following that. I think he's just this soft.

If there are hockey gods there is no way they will allow us to lose 3 OT games here. Come on AV if were gonna lose lets be aggressive. Turn them loose and give them a chance to win cut out the bullshit 30 second defensive shell shifts and get the boys in there forechecking and going balls to the wall to get that winning goal. leave it all on the ice.

He's also a finesse player that doesn't like to grind and to play for Torts EVERYONE must grind. Torts' system worked til teams learned to just take away the boards from him and he refused to adapt. Just kept doing the same thing.

No they need to get the puck in deep and forecheck. The whole third period all they did was get the puck in deep and make changes.

For sure Mess. I know we weren't. He needs to score, not make a few hits...he needs to SCORE GOALS.

To me he is the much bigger concern. Richards is no concern, he is now 10000000% boughtout within 2 weeks, so he is gone. Nash we are stuck with for many years and 7.8 mill per. No good unless he really changes his game.

Still think back to pre-playoffs last season when Milbury and Jones called him out for his playoff play. We all got so angry and them in here and called them Ranger haters, me included, but they were 1000000000000000% dead on. Sad but true.

SKILL. And someone needs to score when an entire team is grinding and dishing the puck to one guy. Inline Nash though, Gabby stepped up and finished his chances. Nash shies away.

It is what it is with Nash. The guy has to look in the mirror.
