And to make matters worse, it wasn't a 22 point lead. It was actually a 25 point lead in the mid-3rd quarter. :ranting: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>1. Scal has actually played well these last 3 games, he just shouldn't have been in at center in crunch time (which is Doc's fault). 3. Yes again. Get him out of here! You guys like my new avy? I made it myself...
lol at your avi. I think it is also the players fault. Guys it is always the coach that gets the blame. But in the end he is on the bench not on the floor. The players needed to make some shots. If they couldn't stop bron then PUT THE BALL IN THE HOLE
scal may not be messing up offensively, but he's still doing nothing but fouling on the other end. he's a nuisance. can I use that avy too?

If they couldn't stop bron then PUT THE BALL IN THE HOLE</div> OF course some of the blame goes to the players. A lot of it. But at the end of the day, is it the players' fault that Doc did these things late in the game?: - Put a lineup of Scal (center), Pierce (PF), Tony Allen (6'3'' guard on LeBron), West, Telfair - Played Telfair over Rondo when we needed defensive stops - Perkins and Gomes were playing well and we needed rebounding, he puts Scal/Pierce on Varajoe/Marshall instead and once again, leaves TA on James (who KILLED TA). - Played the starters over 10 minutes in the 3rd quarter STRAIGHT and then most of the 4th (of course they will be tired!!! Doc does this EVERY game). - STILL only played Gerald 12 minutes, with no Wally, and after Gerald scored 8 points in his first 7 minutes on the floor. - Etmotherfuckincetra Also, Pierce is a lot to blame here too. He tried to go 1-on-1 with LeBron and tried to "show him who's boss" as usual (which he usually does), but LeBron had the last laugh as he smoked us in the 4th while Pierce shot 6-21. But Doc Rivers, wtf. He is a big part of this loss, and the other 4, and all the other ones from last year. He's a terrible subber, makes terrible late-game decisions, he doesn't run any type of offense (it's just get it and go, and hope for the best), and he OBVIOUSLY doesn't preach defense. Doc is not a good coach, he should be fired A-SAP. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>scal may not be messing up offensively, but he's still doing nothing but fouling on the other end. he's a nuisance. can I use that avy too?</div> Dogma, Scal had 3 quick fouls in the 2nd quarter, but that's it. We had around a 20 point lead at that time anyway. Scal has been good these last 3 games. Last night he was good, he played physical, made some nice passes, dove to the floor, and rebounded. It's Doc's fault for putting him at center, but Scal did a pretty good job. And sure, I guess. The more I see an X through Doc's face, the better. Let's just hope Danny sees it the same way (deep down, I don't think he does, and that scares me).
I can't believe it also. When I saw them have a big league, I was hyped up for a win. Then I see that the Cavs caught up and won. BS.. Paul Pierce was fouled when he shot the 3 also. He was hit on the elbow. I was just angry about last night.
I was stunned when Boston was up 25-10 in the 1st quarter, then after halftime they were still blowing out the Cavs..I saw the ticker at the bottom of the screen, and I saw that the C's lost, it just shocked me how they could blow that lead.. :no3:
They just couldn't stop James/Hughes close to the end of the game. Then they couldn't produce any points at the other end. Pierce took alot of shots that could of gone in easily. I feel like he rushed his shots in the last 2 minutes of the game.
you're right. he was trying to gun it with lebron, and he was definitely forcing the issue. but to be fair, no one else was hitting at the end of the game.
Look guys, blow outs are gonna happen sometime, some nights your gonna feel like punching the tv, or doc rivers for that matter. But what I agree with is that, if it happens more than often, change comewhere is needed.

The thing everyone is raving about is that Boston was winning by 25 points in the middle of the 3rd quarter, and ended up blowing the game. I don't understand why you said anything about a blow out, like the Celtics lost by 30 or something.

That I give you. But you made it sound like Cleveland killed us and it was a blowout game, like they won by 20. It was a potential blowout game, FOR US. Then we blew it. But to call a game with a final score of 92-91 a blowout is crazy.
