So confused by this one Pasta.

We won the East. Went to the SCF. Torts hated Gabby and is clearly the reason Gabby was traded. Torts wanted Nash over Gabby. Torts did a terrible job with the Canucks and was fired after one season, and has no job now.

So please explain to me how Torts had the last laugh. I would love to see this one...:).

Torts has plenty of free time to laugh now kind of like GMs are going to laugh at him when he comes hat in hand looking for a job.

The guy just got fired one year into his Vancouver job. Do you think there's a reason for that?

I think what Pasta is saying is that Torts got the last laugh by getting the Canucks to pay him for the next few years for doing nothing.

The reason Gaborik did well in LA was he was free to make plays because of what was around him. Here he was playing in a box and still actually had a few good seasons.

The Kings are a loaded team so Gaborik had room to do his thing which was score goals.

They basically put themselves a nose ahead of Chicago by adding him, that was a great move.

i hate when people say gabby did what he did because he was on the kings , wtf you talking about he had 40 goals 2 of the 3 years he was here, this ranger team is light years better then the teams he had around him then, your telling me if you put krider with gabby and stepan he wouldn't do better then nash?. WTF? say that out loud to yourself, gabby has a goal scorers mentality, he had a better shot then nash, and nash is softer.

Lets not pretend that nash didn't blow up because he was on the blue jackets, where they had nobody, other teams would be up 4-0 against them and nash would score 2 goals in a meaningless third period. thats how he scores most of his goals, it is what it is. We found out the hard way. Unless this dude pulls a i need to get stronger in the offseason mentality and wants to change the way he plays the game he is going to do the same things over and over again. I'm not holding my breath on that either.
