Good point. Its as if murderers are going to murder if they feel like murdering. I suppose thats why we have police and jail. Unfortunately, crime tends to have victims. We certainly feel bad for the victims, but punishing the law abiding populace for crimes they didnt commit is more scary to me than the possibility of being a victim some day. And I work in an environment where im likely to be shot, and im forced to work with no weapon at all because people are so scared of them. Its insane to me that I can legally carry on the street but when I come to work where im more likely to be shot or assaulted I cant carry because fucking morons made laws against those of us who follow the rules. I cant tell you how many loaded guns have fallen out of peoples pockets when I pull them from the vehicle, none have been legally registered of course, so laws didnt stop them, only me from protecting myself and the staff I work with.
Do you have a problem with these people that have loaded weapons when you pull them out of the vehicle? Why would you assume they are bad people just because they have an unregistered gun?
Because they have bullet holes in them and usually drugs fall out of the pocket as well. If someone has drugs, a gun, and a bullet lodged in their ass, I use my jump to conclusions mat and assume they arent stand up model citizens like myself.
Also true. Luckily ive never been shot by any of those guns. But its probably only a matter of time. My favorite part is when you have some kids fighting, one pulls a gun, and when the victim arrives in the ER im supposed to play crowed control. One of these days someone is going to come to finish what they started and I wont be armed because guns are scary. They will probably kill coworker bystanders, and possibly me, and I wont be able to stop them because they can buy a gun off the street and I cant carry my legally purchased firearm on the clock.
