Andre Igoudala. Hes a better defender than most, including Deng. And has shown time after time that with given the ball enough, he can be a triple double waiting to happen.Im not saying hes capable of Wades or Lebrons level, but he is just as veristle when it comes to points, rebounds and assist. When hes the main piece of a team, he could average 25ppg 7rpg 6apg. Loul Deng is pretty good himself, but Iggy has shown to be the better player. And hes more athletic also.
Im taking Luol Deng. They are simlr players in my opinion. Both are long, lanky, and athletic. Both are good rebounders, and defenders. But Im taking Luol Deng. His shot is better than Andre, and in my opinion, will have the better offensive year. In the future, I think he will be the better player also.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (austingriz76 @ Nov 12 2006, 05:05 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Andre Igoudala. His offensive game is still raw imo. He's only averaging 12 ppg so far, and his shot isnt that great either. You make it seem like Luol can't do all those things.

But Iggys shot isnt raw, hes a very good shooter, but hes playing with a duo who is scoring 33ppg and 20ppg, of course hes not going to get many touches for points. But whenever AI is out for some reason, he gets 20+points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assist. And Deng is a good defender, but Iggy is defiently better.

He is inconsistent shooting the ball, and shoots just 35% from three. Well, alot of the time Iggy gets the ball, but passes it instead of electing to shoot. It is not all AI and Webber's fault. Webber and AI are very good passers. And Iggy is not a way better defender than Deng. That's ridiculous. I think they're even at defense to be truthful.

Andre Iguodala could not shut down a quick pg. Andre Iguodala shutting down Tony Parker or TJ Ford? :HAHAHA:And youre wrong, Luol Deng is a great defender as well, and arguably just as good, or better.

Just cause I think a player is better than another, doesn't mean Im saying the other sucks. No Iggy couldnt defend PGs like that. But he can defend PGs like Kidd, Hinrich, and Marbury.
withE, I dont care. Deng is just as good a defender as Iggy. And no, he cannot guard Hinrich, or Marbury off the dribble. Youre wrong there.
Very tough choice, but I'm taking Luol Deng too. They're both solid defenders that have some work on offense, but Deng is a little bigger and physical. Also, Deng is the better rebounder and is a year or two younger, so by a slight edge I have to take Luol.

Give me Iggy. He has tons of skill, but with AI taking around 25+ FGA's per game and Webber probably around 20, he doesn't get too many chances to show off his scoring. But he has great driving ability, and improved his shooting a TON last season.Deng is on a team with no true #1 scoring option and hasn't shown much. He's a solid offensive player, but I feel Iggy could be more dangerous if with the Bulls. As for defense, give me Iggy. He is more versatile due to athleticism, and plays tougher defense.
I will take Luol Deng, no doubt about it. Luol is a much better shooter and scorer. He runs the floor better, rebounds better, and has a better knowledge of the game. Iggy is incosistent and hasn't lived up to the hype while Luol Deng seems to be on the verge of a breakout season. Deng runs the floor very well and never settles for a jump shot. I'll take Deng because he has a more complete overall game and will be a better player in the future.
Iggy he is a triple double threat every night. And he is great on D don't for get he had to cover AI's, Webbers, and Korvers man all the time since they did not play good D.
