Who is the 2nd greatest SG in NBA history besides Michael Jordan? You can make a case for Bryant, Drexler, ect. Go for it.
Of our decade its defiently Kobe Bryant. But you can make a case for Jerry West, the Big O(I think they were SGs....not sure)
I'll say Kobe Bryant. 3 titles, great on both ends of the court, scored 35 ppg last year, he is the best player in the League right now, still very young, great shooter, and a great offensive player in general
If Bryant is compared to as the best in history, (MJ) then how come he isnt right after MJ? it just doesn't make any sense.

He was amazing in his playing days.</div>That's a decent pick, Although I would put Jerry West, Drexler, and Julius Erving over him in my list. Most people do forget how great of a scorer he was, 26 points per game is exceptional.

Mr Logo AKA Jerry West. he has the points, title, shooting percentage and everything else to rank him here.

But yeah, I agree, Kobe is #2 all time.

There is a big gap between Michael Jordan and the next guy. Isn't it amazing that we are saying Kobe Bryant is already the second best when he's still a couple years away from turning 30 years old? I would probably go with Kobe Bean being the second best.
Kobe Bryant, and I'd say that even if I hated him. You can't deny what he's done... and now he gets to prove himself as the #1 option, so there's more to come. If he takes a roster like he has far then maybe when it's said and done I could consider him first. But not yet, too hard to tell. Plus you can't deny what MJ did either.
I would say Kobe he is the second most gifted Shooting guard I have ever seen. Oscar Roberston could even be counted up there he once average a triple double for the whole season

Yeah, Robertson was insane way back then.... I'll pick Robertson, because the numbers don't lie.... Kobe comes in 3rd...

He obviously is no Jordan and he hasn't accomplished what he has, and never will. But Kobe Bryant is without question the closest thing we have ever seen to Michael Jordan. Same size/height, same position, both have that swagger, both play the same, etc. I mean everything is so damn similar, Jordan just did it better. There is nothing Kobe can't do.- He can shoot- He can drive- He has range- He's a pretty good rebounder- He is a good passer- He's a top 5 perimeter defender in the NBA, and has been for the past 5 years- He's extremely clutch- He can get a little arrogant, and people knock on him for that, but so was Jordan/Magic/Bird/etc.- He's won 3 rings- He's a leader on the court- He doesn't back down from any challenge- He's a gym rat- He keeps getting better- He's always in perfect shape- Athletic freak- Perfect height/size- Etc.I mean everything. Kobe is #2 on the SG list of all-time, and I hate that all these "Kobe haters" (some don't even have a reason, they just sort of join in on what others think) are all over the place. He's so underapreciated, and it pisses me off. 20 years from now, they will be making DVD's on him (just like they do to Jordan), and people will be talking about him as a god. But now, people "hate" him because they are simply jealous of his game and the fact that he doesn't play for their home team.
I count Robertson as a PG, or else I would have definately picked him. He averaged a triple doube one year, and came very close on many other occasions. He's a top 5 player of all time in my opinion.
