Pelton's top-30 WARP projections: Once was a sleeper, Clint is now getting looks in the late lotto. 2nd overall, Marcus Smart came in at #1. 2. Clint Capela, PF, Switzerland Win%: .497 | Age: 19.9 | WARP projection: 3.4 As I noted in last week's analysis of the top international prospects in the draft, which highlighted the overall strength of the group, Capela performed well both in the French Pro A league and in his team's brief stint in the EuroCup against more challenging competition. He is an excellent shot-blocker for a power forward and is arguably the best finisher in this year's draft, as reflected by his projected 54.4 percent 2-point accuracy.
got a link for that? pelton is usually good at forecasting role players but his hit/miss at the top of the draft is very ordinary
The mystery man in this draft this year is Bruno Caboclo of Brazil. Apparently has received a promise. Not much on him other than: *6'9" | 200 lbs | 7'6" wingspan *One year of organized basketball *Scoring instinct
Would I lie to you? Now lets see if anyone takes a chance, who & how far down in the draft will he fall? I'm guessing not below 5.
Chad Ford @chadfordinsider Breaking: Dario Saric has agreed in principle to a three year deal with Anadolu Efes a source close to Saric told ESPN.com. Chad Ford @chadfordinsider The deal will essentially prohibit Saric from playing in the NBA for a minimum of two years the source told ESPN.
Jerry Zgoda called this a few days ago. I've been on the Saric bandwagon since last summer but now I wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole. This has Fran Vasquez written all over it.
Sam Amico @SamAmicoFSO Told Cavs indeed having talks w Jazz but deal being mentioned a little off. Favors, Burks, #5 and #23 in play for #1 and potentially Jack
Report: Derrick Favors, Alec Burks, No. 5 and No. 23 to the Cavs in exchange for No. 1 and Jarrett Jack to the Jazz?
Passing on Giannis for CJ is looking like the wrong move. According to Alex Kennedy, he's now a legit 6'11" 217 lbs. No risk, no reward?
@chadfordinsider: Sources: Cavs owner Dan Gilbert wants Wiggins at No. 1. Cavs front office wants Parker. Link coming ...
@ESPNAndyKatz: With Elfrid Payton. He is predicting Sacramento or Lakers. Worked out for Lakers twice. Ugh.
