What are you talking about? Soccer is the worlds most popular sport, and the World Cup the biggest sporting event on the planet! It's like a religion!!!!! They don't call it the beautiful game for nothing!! More American kids play soccer than any other sport!!!!!! Soccer players run for 90 minutes!!! In American football you don't even use your feet!!!! What kind of religion is that??????? It should be called Amurrikin' gridiron oblongthrowball!!!!! It's like a religion!!!!!! Stop hating!!!!!!! Oh, and baseball is boooooring!!!!!! And did I mention that soccer players run religiously for 90 minutes???????????

One of the best matches I've seen the USA ever play. Klinnsman made some brilliant moves and I love how much our subs did.

Gonzalez completely fucked up at the end. His only job was to get a shoulder on an attacker running into the box, and he was miles behind the play. Wondo was a meh. Yedlin had a great forward attack, and probably needs to see the field against Germany because of his speed.

OK, I've digested this draw a bit. Portugal needs to beat Ghana, or a draw between the two, and the US can't get blown out by Germany. If Portugal beats Ghana even by 4-1, and the US loses 4-0 to Germany, the US would still advance. If Ghana beats Portugal, things get a lot more tight for the USA being able to stay close to Germany.

We're +5 in goal differential against Portugal, but only +2 against Ghana.

If that were to happen Portugal would advance with a goal differential of -1 and the USA would be eliminated with a goal differential of -3

Realistically we want a draw or win vs GER

Or no more than a 2 pt loss and a POR or 1-2 goal differential GHA win

Good point. Not sure what I was thinking. We're still in a great position to advance, though. Germany is a lock barring a miracle.
