No. I say the media should report that two judges have found the investigation both baseless and a violation of 1st amendment rights. Instead of "Walker at center of criminal probe" the headline really is "Judges halt baseless criminal probe." Here's a reasoned take on it: http://azstarnet.com/ap/politics/an...cle_3030d556-a989-55c4-b4c9-8bd5a3489c44.html
They already did. So you think the media is biased unless it covers up prosecutors' investigations of Republicans.
Oh, no. I think they should fully expose the prosecutors' investigations for what they are. What they are have been ruled a violation of the 1st amendment and the investigation is without basis. http://www.jsonline.com/news/statep...-doe-investigation-b99202093z1-244738571.html (these guys won)
All your article says is that the future defendant, the Club for Growth, is suing the prosecutors to stop investigating their illegal acts, while whining that the prosecutors must be Democrats. The article says that the head prosecutor is a Republican.
Get your facts straight. Geez. They won. That's why the documents were unsealed. http://watchdog.org/116524/john-doe-landgraf/

I bet you think a republican appointed the state judge. That sort of attack seems to be your only defense. http://watchdog.org/123377/john-doe-conservatives-wall-street-journal/ “Now we learn that Judge Gregory A. Peterson ruled on Friday that at least some of those subpoenas were improper,” the Journal’s editorial board broke Friday evening in a piece headlined Wisconsin Political Speech Victory. According to the ruling, which remains under seal but obtained by the Journal, the subpoenas “do not show probable cause that the moving parties committed any violations of the campaign finance laws,” he wrote. Peterson also ordered the return of property to the targets of the so-called John Doe probe, which for nearly two years has gone after conservative organizations like Americans for Prosperity and Wisconsin Club for Growth in a hunt for alleged illegal coordination and campaign finance violations in Wisconsin’s 2011 and 2012 recall elections. ... Though gagged by court order, several sources have told Wisconsin Reporter the manifold legal attack on nonprofit political organizations has included dramatic pre-dawn raids on homes and offices; confiscated equipment and files; and demands for private phone, email and other records. Sources connected to the investigation have told Wisconsin Reporter the mission was to take down Republican Gov. Walker, the bane of public unions in particular and Democrats in general. The investigation, sources said, was launched by Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf, who is being sued by a northern Wisconsin Harley-Davidson shop owner on charges of false imprisonment and abuse of process after the retailer was locked up for failing to provide customer information to the prosecution that, by law, he could not turn over. The Wisconsin judge who presided over original lawsuit, throwing it out over a technicality, harshly criticized Landgraf, asserting the prosecutor was “behaving badly, probably for political reasons.”
Walker won his last election only because the Democratic candidate was just as conservative. http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2012/05/wisc-m10.html And now Democrats are doing it again. Another capitalist. http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/05/13/wemb-m13.html
Wisconsin governor at center of "vast" fundraising case! The new guy in Illinois is no Blago (remember him?) http://www.politico.com/story/2014/07/illinois-pat-quinn-faces-questions-program-108987.html?hp=l10 Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn faces questions about program On Wednesday, a bipartisan commission of lawmakers will decide whether to call a number of former Quinn administration officials to testify about the program, which a state audit recently concluded had “pervasive” problems, including misuse of funds. But federal prosecutors, who also are investigating how the funds were spent, have asked them to hold off. If they proceed, many of the former Quinn aides are expected to appear but not answer questions. (center of a vast fundraising scandal!, but the headline kind of buries that) Republicans, who see the gubernatorial election this year as possibly the next best chance to win control of a Democratic leaning state, have alleged Quinn used money from the $55 million Neighborhood Recovery Initiative as a political slush fund to secure votes in predominantly minority neighborhoods of heavily Democratic Chicago in a tight race.
