That kid was freaking amazing. Ron I wish you could get me the actual link, I'd love to send this to my grandson in Colorado.
Hot Damn.....!!! This kid reminds me of a 7 year old boy I met 40 years ago, (a Japanese Immigrant, who could barely speak or understand English). The boy intensely watched me fumble with a f'n Rubik's Cube for 30 minutes to no avail. On the verge of throwing the damn cube, he sensed my frustration, while my brother, (then the same age), told me, let his little buddy try it......so I handed the boy the cube, and watched him complete it in less than 5 minutes. I wasn't timing him, yet I'd say it was probably less than 5 minutes....... As fast as his hands could move, the cube was completed in the blink of my eyes.... On top of that, the boy had NEVER even tried a Rubik's cube, so said his Dad.... stunning.... the yo yo boy....!!! I can't recall how many times those things hit me in the balls or b/t the eyes....!! Loved walking the dog tho'...!
Ha....I had a high school summer intern in my lab at Salk. His nickname was cube...he'd solve a 3x3 in 15 seconds. The 4x4 cube in under 2 minutes. He had other skills like finishing HS in 3 years only to 4.0 CalTech in 3 years and walk into MD-PhD program before his 20th birthday.
Incredible, makes me wonder about Child hood prodigy's- Mozart-Yo Yo Boy-your buddy too.... Sign this Yo Yo boy up in 10 yrs. His quick hands would be as good as Brooks Robinson....(excuse the blasphemy)...!
