You just never see the Ranger insignia on early round draft boards. I cannot get excited without seeing my team up on these draft boards. I'll go fishing.
Doesnt help they dont have a 1st rounder this year. As far as next year, if Tampa signs Cally do we get our 1st back and they get a lesser pick or do they keep it cause we made the ECF?
This draft is solid with goaltending prospects, I'd try and package a 2nd and 3rd together to move up for the kid from BC if he's there. There's another guy from the U-18 team Ndejkovic I think is his name who's vg and another Swedish guy Johanssen who could probably be had at the end of the 2nd. They could probably wait another year if needed to take one. They also need power forwards in the system.

I am amazed how this draft goes unnoticed by Ranger fans. I guess they know something nobody knows. LOL
They got a few upside goalies who sound like they have starter potential and Iverson the power forward type from Minnesota in the 3rd. Not bad with no 1st and a late 2nd. We'll see 4 years from now.
