Man, at this point, I would be happy if he stayed away from the White House and spent the rest of his time golfing. Every time he does something, it turns to shit.

Would anyone be happier if these kids were turned away and they end up dead in their home countries?

Unfortunately, that's far more humane than letting things escalate to the point where our own children are starving to death due to their parents losing jobs to illegal aliens.

Oh wait, we're already past that point.

Of course not, Denny. The problem has been created and is being exaggerated by the lack of action by this administration. States have been trying to get more security on the borders for years, and the White House has gone as far as suing to stop efforts by those states.

Hmm...Looks like nothing but adults. I see 1 child only. Mostly looks like middle-aged men, overfed and nicely dressed.

    Job-stealers.

I am not sure how many feral children we have now, running loose in country, no known papa.
What the hell will be the result of a few hundred thousand more? Or are we headed for millions?

What's Mexico doing to stop this?

    <crickets chirping>

I say we give 'em all landscaping jobs. Put 'em to work beautifying the southern side of the border fence that should have been built decades ago.

Lack of what action? These people are from 3 countries who normally don't have a lot of immigrants leave for here.

I bet their ancestors were here hundreds of years before yours. That would make them real americans.

    MARIS is a canadian pretender.

I think your speculation is correct since I am 1st generation here, and remember the stories of Dad and Grandfather making their way through Ellis Island. One look at New York City and they headed for Oregon.

Canada? I obtain permission to be a resident of Canada in 1988. Then when the official papers arrived they told me I could not work outside of Canada! WTF?? I sold my ranch in Canada, working all over the world on a contract here and there is what I did.

Maybe not specifically a train, but they were mass amounts of children from central america coming across the border. They were bordering on humanitarian crisis.

Denny, the countries they come from has zero bearing on Our abhorrent lack of border security, and this administrations willingness to disrupt states attempts to bolster them.

I understand what is going on in more than a casual way. There are several things at play here that if obama had not created this environment, this would not be happening.

I assume you invite homeless families to live with you in your home so they don't die on the streets. :dunno:

The kids would be dying in the streets of their home countries if they didn't come here.

People risk death to come here for some reason. Those trains don't look like a safe ride. People get clipped by tree branches and the like. Maimed or swept off the train. Mexicans who try to come here also die by the thousands.

    And for PapaG,

I'd invite these homeless kids to be taken care of by your church.

While I find this thread incredibly amusing . . . this is not, and brings it right back to reality.

That's great, but I don't go to church, and I'm agnostic. So, dumb post.
