VOTE NOW! --> BEST BREAKTHROUGH ATHLETE --> http://espn.go.com/espys/2014/vote/?id=11043396&lang=en --> BEST PLAY --> http://espn.go.com/espys/2014/vote/?id=11032074&round=one&lang=en
He may win Best Play, but the Best Breakthrough Athlete is already decided. That's based on who they want to pimp next. ESPN is nothing more than the WWE is.
For Breakout Athelte Dame is the only one up from the NBA for it. The others are Richard Sherman(NFL), Nick Foles(NFL), Mashiro Tanka(MLB).
Sherman or Tanaka then. Still doesn't change the fact it's all about the storyline, ala WWE. So, I'm still correct in my conspiracy theory. :MARIS61:
Oh, that's right. ESPN has decided it, then. There's no "votes"... just what they can talk about. The only time an upset happens is so they can talk about how the favorite didn't win. BORING.
I actually think Dames shot has a chance. The Iron Bowl was pretty insane and College Football is big but what Dame did was in the Playoffs and what the shot meant was a lot. The vote is all about Human voters and that shot was the biggest shot in the NBA playoffs this year so I think it'll come down to who votes more the NBA fans or the College football fans.
Well thats the thing, I think there will be more college football votes because theres wayyyy more college football fans than NBA fans
I don't think there is any way Lillard beats Sherman, but it would be huge if he did! Just to have him nominated is a pretty big deal for his, and in turn the Blazers image.
