I have no doubt PapaG could update a spread sheet. Problem would be getting specific details on contracts.
I think RR7 would be far better at it than me. He has the best grasp of the CBA of any current poster on this board. BfW would also be great, but he doesn't post here anymore.
there are a lot of people here who understand the cap in and out, its more the updating whenever there is a roster move that would be difficult to stay on top of
Yes as others have said this scenario is completely impossible since; #1 Robin's contract is fully guaranteed #2 A non guaranteed salary has to be waived at which point other NBA teams can claim said player #3 A player traded away and waived cannot be resigned for a year from the team that traded him #4 A prior agreement to resign a player at the MLE would be circumventing the salary cap and risk the team losing draft picks for multiple seasons plus voiding the players contract as Joe Smith in Minnesota #5 There is no guarantee the player would keep their word on the contract as in the Carlos Boozer deal. What if something happened and Robin wanted to be around his family or play with his brother? This is by far one of the worst most impossible trade proposal I've ever seen here in years of ludicrous posts. It should be archived! I can't believe the original poster was actually serious with it. It has to be some sort of NBA capologist joke.
so i guess kneel hole-she is just gonna sit on his phone and watch other teams acquire 2nd round picks... is that his plan to improve the team? not having 2nd round picks? doesnt he know that manu was the #57 pick??? does anybody else find that...troubling?
1. Suck my dick 2. Lick me where I pee 3. I post shit when I think of it, rarely looking to see if it is possible 4. Joe Smith was framed and the NBA is rigged 5. Stop bumping this thread just to be a dick.
Yah it makes this place more exciting because without crazy unrealistic ideas, we would have nothing to talk about until we use our MLE and Bi Annual Exception to fill our last roster spots. And then all we got left is to watch people get over excited about a guy who scored 15 points during summer league.
Nothing wrong with letting this site die for a few months. Most people here would benefit from some time away.
They would find a substitute. It's probably better that some remain "inside" rather than roaming our countryside.
