I found this funny, besides the fact Blazers didn't draft anyone.

PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS | GRADE: C-

    Round 1: None

    Round 2: None

Analysis: The Blazers sent this pick as part of the Gerald Wallace trade a while ago. Wallace is no longer around which means losing this pick had to hurt a little. Though, I don't think pick No. 24, which ultimately became Shabazz Napier, was going to make a major impact on this team.

He seems to forget that Gerald Wallace turned into Damian Lillard. I don't think anyone in PDX is hurting right now...

#24 2014 pick to CHA for Wallace, Wallace to Nets for 2012 #6 pick (Lillard).

Wow, was that a fleecing of the first order. Let's not forget we also got cap relief by taking Mehmet Okur and Shawne Williams.

the nets next 4 #1 picks

2015---Atlanta has the right to swap its 2015 first-round pick for Brooklyn's 2015 first-round pick

    2016---Brooklyn's unprotected 2016 first-round pick to Boston.

2017---Boston has the right to swap its 2017 first-round pick for Brooklyn's 2017 first-round pick

    2018--- Brooklyn's unprotected 2018 first-round pick to Boston.

but at least they got one more year of the formidable paul pierce/joe johnson combo!

Holy shit! The Nets are gonna SUCK. We should try to make a trade for their unprotected 2020 pick! CJ straight-up for the pick? :D

Seriously, how does someone who is PAID to write these crappy draft reviews NOT make the connection between the traded pick and Lillard? That's ridiculous.

What an ultra maroon. He writes that as if the Blazers got nothing back in return at all, let alone the fact we got Damian "Fucking" Lillard in the deal. LOL

Chad Ford went to BYU to be a lawyer.

    He practiced law for years.

He got his start as a dude, no different from you or me, on Sportstalk.com.

Take his opinions with a grain of salt.

It wasn't an opinion. It was a misreporting of the facts.

Well, I agree he's far from infallible, but if you go far enough back every "expert" did something else--whether it was play basketball or manage a Dairy Queen.

He's been doing this professionally for a while and he has contacts that no one on this board does, so it's not like he's a total random guy.

I agree, though, that even if he has a "one step rule" or something for grades, he should have mentioned how we flipped Wallace.

You guys will change your tune when Napier is on national TV every week, has a ring, and we have to pay Lillard the max.
